Director Lee Kyu Man (A Moment To Remember ) comes back to the big screen with Return, an ingeniously meshed, hair-raising, whodunnit mystery thriller that incorporates a medical enigma for extra suspense. The story revolves around a boy who experiences what doctors call "anesthesia awareness", a condition in which the patient remains totally conscious throughout the surgical process despite having been put under anesthesia. With its uncanny plot, slick screen images, and dynamic characters brilliantly portrayed by Kim Myung Min (Into The Mirror), Yoo Joon Sang (Wedding Campaign), Kim Tae Woo (Epitaph), Jung Yoo Suk (You Are My Sunshine), and Kim Yoo Mi (The Doll Master), Return is the perfect example of what a good mystery suspense film ought to be. Kim Myung Min plays doctor again after his hit medical drama The Great White Tower and lets the audience in on a mind-bending murder mystery.

A ten-year-old boy is put under anesthesia for heart surgery, but remains totally conscious, leaving him with searing memories of pain. Suffering from post-traumatic stress, the boy starts to exhibit strange behavior, but somehow manages to seal off his painful memories for good - or so it seemed. Twenty-five years later, the nightmare resurfaces and top-notch surgeon Ryu Jae Woo (Kim Myung Min) is caught in the center of the frenzy. After an unexpected visit from his childhood friend (Yoo Joon Sang), a string of mysterious deaths begin to occur. Matters worsen when friction develops between him and his colleagues Jang Suk Ho (Jung Yoo Suk) and Oh Chi Hoon (Kim Tae Woo). Before reaching his wit's end, Jae Wook stumbles onto the 25-year-old medical case of a boy who suffered from anesthesia awareness. Who is this mysterious boy? And how is he related to the current madness?
