Rhapsodia is more than just a new strategy RPG from Konami, it's also a new game in the Suikoden series! Known in the west as Suikoden Tactics, Rhapsodia begins just a few years prior to the events in Suikoden IV. Players won't control the usual 108 characters that the Suikoden series is known for, but will instead be given 50, and will take on a quest that runs parallel to the adventures contained in Suikoden IV. One of the developer goals in Rhapsodia was to make the game more accessible to newer RPG enthusiasts while still retaining the flavor of the much-beloved Suikoden series. As a result, gameplay is more streamlined and free of the endless option menus of other RPGS, plus there are plenty of references and familiar elements which should delight diehard Suikoden fans!
