There are plenty of characters and you are given some background information about the main characters to understand their motivation. Check out the gal in the instructional video. She's too cute. It follows me around. The only negative about this movie was that the translation for the sub-titles was horrible. My mark of a great foriegn film is that I understand what's going on without realizing that I'm reading sub-titles. The sub-titles for this movie are somewhat of a distraction since its so bad.
