Last year's K-pop super rookies SHINee are back with their second mini-album! This time the "noona" favorites play Romeo with six brand-new numbers (and some new haircuts to match). Their latest single Juliette is an urban dance number from the creators of BoA's Eat You Up, Dong Bang Shin Ki's Mirotic, and SHINee's own Love Like Oxygen. The song samples from Corbin Bleu's Deal With It, and its romantic lyrics are written by none other than member Jong Hyun, making his songwriting debut. SHINee also collaborated with many hit songwriters, including Eco Bridge, Kenzie, and Jeong Yeop of Brown Eyed Soul, for fresh tracks like the R&B number Hit Me Baby, the Spanish-style Senorita, and the closing song Romeo + Juliette. All of the mini-album's songs combine to tell a complete Romeo and Juliet-inspired story.

Japan Version comes with a DVD containing the music video of Juliette. First Press releases come with CD jacket-sized card (1 of 6 randomly selected designs); only while supplies last.

Wow! My order came so fast! I was really surprised and pleased! The packaging was great, and the CD came in perfect condition! So happy ^^ The CD itself is great, many cute and funny pictures. The music is fantastic, Please Don't Go being my absolute favorite on the album.

Very nice Album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was one of those CDs that I had always wanted but never really gotten round to buying, though a little while ago I did and after receiving it, I felt a bit silly for putting it off for so long!

The casing on the CD itself is more like a small book than anything, it doesn't have a hard outer casing and the CD is held in at the back with two little flaps. That last part might sound a bit bad but don't worry! So long as you don't rip the CD out of the back with strong levels of force and you put it back carefully, you'll be fine. :)

The photoshoot for this mini album is really nice, there are a few pictures where Taemin and Key have blue contact lenses in - it looks really strange... but really nice at the same time! A lof of it seems to be pictures of them having fun and getting ready to pose for the shoot, rather than them actually posing. Whether or not that was intentional I don't know, but I think it looks nice. The photos all give off a happy and relaxing vibe - something that is quite tricky for CDs to do in my opinion.

I have to admit that the songs on this CD aren't really my favourite (the song list on 'Lucifer' holds that title), though they are very nice. 'Juliette' and 'Señorita' are two very upbeat tracks that really help get you in a good mood, while my favourite song on the CD 'Hit Me' is a very powerful half-ballad that never fails to bring up a wave of emotions. I love it!

As for who's picture I got on the back of my CD - I got Key. I'm very happy with it because I think his photo was one of the best in terms of the random member ones, so that worked out really well. :) I'd recommend buying this CD if you're a SHINee fan, it's lovely!

About the CD packaging and designing, the CD front's text was just unique, and LOL I thought those sparkles were scratches XD. I love the eco green cover, all combined of hard paper! About the booklet, it was pretty, but seriously, I just wanna ask their stylists what were they really thinking putting that kind of outfits on... One member dressed up like that was enough, yet they made us suffer all five combined... I could've just say at least each member showed off his own color, but the outfits for real were just too... Urgh. Still, I love the booklet, the boys looked so cute, fresh and brightful, but thumbs down the lighting. It was just too creepy for my taste... Also thumbs down Jonghyun in wig. Someone tell him he's just too manly to look like a girl asap! On the other hand Onew looked really cute sucking on a sucker =)). It wouldn't be enough to just kiss him XD. Forever Onew biased XD. I love the boys' individual shots (except Jonghyun-in-wigs ones) and the texts were simply one-of-a-kind. I think the unique text designing really suit SHINee's concept a lot!

Overall, great EP, must-haves for all ShaWols :D

The EP was amazing and is an absolute must-have for all ShaWols.

'니가 맘에 들어 (Talk To You)' put a great opening to the EP. The song was catchy and the melody was soft and sweet enough, I love it :).

Juliette needless to say was an absolute hit and it deserved all those awards it has won. Jonghyun surprised me with his songwriting skills. The lyrics were just romantic... And really, our boys has improved so much through Juliette :x

'차라리 때려 (Hit Me)' delivered a very new and refreshing side of SHINee I supposed never has seen before. The melody was simpler, yet still more addictive, and the boys' vocals were just cute :x

'세뇨라타 (Señorita)' was also a great song, I love its powerful melody with fast beats and charismatic raps, unique electronic sounds and the boys' vocals were kinda messy (in a good way). I love it, the song was refreshing and chic and energetic and still so sweetly romantic at the same time. I knew we can expect such from SHINee :3

'잠꼬대 (Please, Don't Go)' was my favourite track from the EP, mainly because JongYu is my ultimate OTP hahaha XD. Still, just have to admit the duo's vocals were both amazing and even if they just sing without the background music, it'd still be perfect. While Onew's voice was warm, soft and gentle, Jonghyun's voice was strong, powerful and much 'harder'. Their vocals really, really blended so well :x. 종유 파이팅 ♡ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

'소년, 소녀를 만나다 (ROMEO+JULIETTE)' was also an amazing track and it totally put a perfect ending to the EP. The melody was soft and addictive, even the boys' vocals were so smooth and gentle, I can just keep replaying the track again and again and again... Listening to it really soothe me. I can really feel the all the emotions of the song and can somehow understand it, and it's just amazing.

i love this album , the songs and pictures are nice. bet 100% that you will enjoy it if u buy
maybe you can also try their other albums as the change their style for each one and it will be interesting i love all their songs ! BEST boys band in KOREA!!!!!!!
