In this Stephen King story, which aired as television miniseries in three two-hour parts, Dr. Joyce Reardon (Nancy Travis) is a professor at the University of Washingtonn in Seattle who is determined to prove that supernatural occurrences are real. Using six specialists, each of whom possess a different form of psychic ability, the scientist leads her group into Rose Red, a haunted mansion that has grown in size since it was built in 1907. From there, the film because a wonderfully delirious ghost story, using the bizarre settings contained within the gigantic house to procure constant new surprises.

A scary movie

Hi you horror lovers: Sit back, and take cover, because this American movie does not let up. Stephen King, as you'll know, is the best book, horror writter, in our life time..and he keeps doing it..weird, but dam good..In this movie, Rose Red, is the exsample of the weird mind this man has..The Ghost are Soul sucking Vampire's..That live in this great big house that seems to keep building it self, well with the help of the poor ghost that are not dead, yet not alive either..Many people died there, and are still dying. Till one day it was closed down for a very long time.. This whacko teacher who believe in the supernatural, but was a laughing stock to her piers, wanted to prove that Rose Red, can be awaken. She needed to have prove with pictures, and psychics who have the ability to commute with the unkown. She was going to show the world, that she is not whacko..the problem is that Rose Red will not be denied, and that the teacher was being used to bring a certain little girl over to the house. This girl has huge powers, they needed her power in order to become this strong evil house. So here we are with a few hand full of psychics..a crazy teacher, getting nutier, as the movie progreses, a college reporter who was sent down to prove that this teacher was going to fail..(FAT CHANCE)...All who are going to have an experience they will never forget... Yes this movie is the Awsome movie of its time. |
