Xiao Zi (Rachel Liang) is a huge fan of rock band Future Man's lead singer Lin Nuo (Henley Hii), so much so she even got a waitress job at the pub he sings at. Just like in a romance manga, she makes him purple paper roses as gifts, numbering each one. Fellow waiter Zi Da (Tender Huang), who actually comes from a rich family, can't understand Xiao Zi's devotion and often gives her grief. When Lin Nuo passes away in an accident, Xiao Zi strives to keep her love alive by taking up his dreams and becoming a singer. Without even realizing it, Xiao Zi herself has found a supporter who gives her purple roses...
One Million Star singer Rachel Liang (Cape No. 7) makes her drama debut in the 2009 GTV romance Roseate-Love, the latest idol drama from the director of Hot Shot and Starlit. After his breakout performance in Story of Time, Tender Huang rises to leading man status to play Liang's brooding romantic interest. Roseate-Love's supporting cast is also a very fresh lineup with Denny Huang (Miss No Good), Tiffany Hsu (They Kiss Again), and Henley Hii, the second season winner of Malaysia's talent search program Project SuperStar, taking their biggest roles to date.
