Good, but slow

I thought the album was quite nice, but I have a problem with it: It´s too slow! Most of the songs are slow and very boring. However, Roy has a nice voice, so I still listen to some of them. I wasn´t too found of the hip-hop style of the CD, he should make a "super-ballad". |

Roy is DA BEST
| Terrific!! Roy Chow has got serious talent! I hope he wins the "new singer" award in HK this year!!! My fav. track is #1 & #2 & #4! Mr.Remote is a cool tune.....kinda got that soft rock feel.....not bad! I recomend it to anyone who claims to like music. (O, and he is pretty hot btw hehehe) |

An unexpected one!
An unexpected one!
| Not having heard of who Roy was before I say this album I decided to get it for it's good reviews. Well I have to say that the music is very individual compared to today's newcomer's (male singers) music. First of all, it is more rocky and loud than the usually slow teenage love songs by the other newcomers. But what was surprising was that some of the songs sounded quite 90s, at first I thought it was weird but then I grew into it and I would describe his music to be a younger style of 'Beyond' (when they had 4 members). It is very obvious that Roy has talent and has a nice voice, especially in track 5 (the duet) in which his voice sounded like Edmond Leung's. But the his voice also sounds on the fast and louder vocals. His music is very enjoyable and entertaining, which is also very out of the original. I wold recommend it and especially those how liked Beyond, which I surprisingly didn't. |
