Re-birth -Rock'n Roll Swindle at Nippon Budokan- (Japan Version) DVD Region 2
(1)Our Price: US$53.49Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysOctober 12, 2006 Transition to Re-birthThis was definetely a great buy. The documentary may be long, but it was so worth it. You really see how Glay make the transition in working together again with a new staff and re-strengthened their musical bond together once more during rehershals.
The best part was the surprise for Hisashi's birthday. <-- Biased opinion from a Hisashi fan ^^; So for those who are wondering about whether this is worth the money, take it from a nine year Glay fan: It IS.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

April 15, 2006 Now I know how Linkin Park would sound like in JapI have to admit when I heard 'Ichirin no Hana' on the Bleach intro, I got hooked. It had been awhile since I had heard any GOOD Japanese heavy metal. The whole album in general exceeded my expectations, but the screaming vocals by Yuusuke got annoying after awhile, especially in tracks four, eleven, and thirteen. Although they sound great on the album, I wonder how Muukii (the vocalist) would sound like in front of a live audience... It was definetely a good buy. Did you find this review helpful? SCREAM (CD+DVD)(Japan Version)
September 5, 2005 Strange Combo but somehow, it works...I've been a long time Glay fan since their Hai to Daimyondo days and this is the first time I've heard about Exile. Being a j-rocker, obviously I'm oblivious to other things out there.
When I found out about this collaboration, I thought, "Glay is DEFINETELY losing their rock n' roll touch. I mean, look at White Road for goodness' sake!" But, being the devoted fan that I am, I gave this single a shot.
I have to admit, the tune is very catchy and Jiro's bass goes really well with the scratchboard. The guitar solos however are very simple and direct with effects, unlike their older stuff but what can you do.
This is one of those songs that WILL get stuck in your head!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
