I Liked It!

This was a funny and clever film. I love Lau Ching-Wan, and am surprisingly fond of Ekin Cheng. The first is a wonderful and versatile actor who is sadly underrated and the second a predictably untalented actor (though cute as a button) who seems to be a truly likeable person in real life. I have seldom seen Lau Ching-Wan give a poor performance nor Ekin Cheng a good one, but this film proves Ekin can deliver and Lau Ching-Wan is always terrific no matter how silly the film. The premise is Lau is a policeman with a sense of humor and a surprisingly good nature and Cheng is a magician/thief who can charm the socks off of you. They play a cat and mouse game of chase that never makes sense and is funny anyway. Given that both have sly infectious smiles and a fine sense of fun, one would have a hard time not enjoying this film. Ekin Chengs character is playful, unthreatening, and well done and Laus officer is game for anything. The chase?scene is hysterical, and it's worth viewing the entire film just to see that. I think it proves that Ekin Cheng CAN act given a decent part. While not a heavy duty role nor a deep one, he is wonderful to watch and gives the impression that there is potential there. Lau is always a joy and the film is a lovely throwaway worth the time. |

Good
| I love the music of this movie, keep your ears open during the bike race if you decide to buy this. Also the ending and plot is not hard to firgure out, it all comes together at the end on a news paper. |

| Thanks to you Ekin Cheng, he plays super well and I am always impatient to see these next films. This film changes the ordiniaire and the history is really very well, I recommend you to see this film |

The sequel that was downright goofy...
| First Running Out of Time was great. It had purpose. This sequel... What the heck? Ekin Cheng the goofy magician. It was just downright awkward. At least Kelly Lin was in it... Woo Hoo... Otherwise I would have rated this film lower. |

A mess
| the scenes are jumbled and the story dragged on for too long. it got three points because of Lau Ching Wan, Kelly Lin and Hui Siu Hung. |

Not as good as 1st one
| Number 1 was very good. Part 2 is not even close. With extra money & extra time, buy it. Otherwise, forget it. |

Not as good as the first installment
| Not an awful movie, but it seems to be trying to cash in on the popularity of the first movie. Lau Ching Wan is excellent, as usual, but his performance alone can't carry this film. My suggestion would be buy the first one, rent the second. |

Ekin at his best
| Ekin is probabily the reason for most of the people who wanted to watch this movie. But in general, I don't like the way Ekin acts. He might be a hot looking guy to some people, but, we are talking about his acting techniques not the way he looks. For years Ekin's acting has been the same(no improvement)to me. I always have an impression of him just standing in front of the camera and talking the lines(the same expressions in every movie). But in this movie, Ekin did an awsome job acting. The character he plays in this movie has not much lines, instead, more of the facial expression and body language were needed to play the cunning and smart thief who steals for fun and likes to play mind games with the cops. I was afraid Ekin couldn't handle the job well. It turned out that I was wrong. Ekin did the most excellent job he ever did in his acting career in this movie. Can't tell you how much I like the scene he was in when the gambling cop was about to commit suicide(smart), and the bike chasing scene with Sean Lau. Of course, there's no doubt about Lau's acting. He's always been one of the best actors in HK. Overall, Ekin and Lau has a great chemistry acting together in this movie. I know that many ppl would compare their chemistry with the Andy Lau one. But let me tell you, they are two different types of chemistris. The movie is funny like a dark comedy to me. If you really pay attention to the plot, you will find little things that makes you laugh, and you will admire how careful and unique the director places these scenes together and make it a good commercial movie. |

I, dreaming many times about Zer0reX Was1kuY?who is a cosmic/universal heroic genius on Mission ZX? in my own novel(s) in the future, am still fascinated by this film because it is extremely wonderful movie about a criminal genius challenges a police negotiator into the way of psychological game to come true to me in my life force. Furthermore, I am still fascinated by another new film of Running Out of Time 2 by Johnnie To?again. Seeking directors at H.K., I really wish that Johnnie To make to print out their novels (books with both paperback and hardcover) about Running Out of Time and Running Out of Time 2 by Johnnie To for us throughout the world because I wish to very fascinatingly read the novels and save my books and films to intersperse in my own bookcase. Hopefully, I would write my own dreamed novel(s) with science fiction for Running Out of Time 3 or Running Out of Time ZX? in my future, but not Running Out of Time 3 because I believe about Johnnie To has written more his own novel of Running Out of Time 3 next month or year.? Consequently, I shall write my own phenomenal brilliant novel of Running Out of Time ZX?after Johnnie To would be older that ZX is the way of force with central small power in the end of time, for example, those stories began creating all films step-by-step about Running Out of Time through Running Out of Time 51 or 100 or more.? Those seem to be the series of stories, and thus, the ultimate film is called Running Out of Time ZX.? I think how to invent my phenomenal brilliant novel of Running Out of Time ZX about a deaf boy genius, Zer0reX Was1kuY, is a tricky hero on a mission. He experience to play card, which is one of a set of 52 (plus 2 kind of symbols are called Z and X or ZX and what?) small, rectangular pieces of stiff paper, each with a number or letter and one of four symbols printed on it, used in games.
