Wonderful must have concert for fans

Even though I give this 10 stars it really is 9.75....this is only because Maaya didn't sing "Gravity" in this show. Other than that omission this is a must have concert for all Maaya Sakamoto fans. Plenty of songs from her recent album "Kazeyomi" are included, as well as fantastic surprises like the themes for "Escaflone" and "Arjuna", as well as the stunning "Universe" (in which Maaya almost cries because of how beautiful the crowd looks to her with their blue lights waving). Trust me, this is Maaya giving her love to her fans and playing an incredible concert. She is happy and her energy shines in this concert. There are 3 outfits she wears during this 2+ hour concert. It really is a treat and there are many older gems she plays. The 2 tracks she intimately plays for the crowd all alone and playing piano are so beautiful and are icing on the cake. Well worth the price for this DVD. |
