A honest review of Sam Hui's DVD
A honest review of Sam Hui's DVD
| I had viewed the latest DVD on Mr. Sam Hui, the popular pop singer from Hong Kong. This is my opinion about the DVD. First, the DVD is rather short and lasts not more than 50 minutes. The starting part was quite confusing in that Sam's several songs were brief and cut out quite rapidly. I find it disappointed that his famous song: Kwai Mah Seong Sing - the movie theme song from GAMES GAMBLERS PLAY was included in this DVD. The rest of Sam's songs are quite uninspiring. Given that this collection DVD in remembrance of Sam Hui's 30 years active singing and acting career in HOng Kong, the producers should have done a better job in planning and sourcing his songs. Though the 14 songs are included in this DVD, but actually the first two songs were cut short and did't do much justice to this popular singer. This important DVD should have done justice to the acclaimed work of Mr. Sam Hui, and should include at least 30 of his best songs. I'm not impressed with this DVD and hope that the producers should have done a better job. |

| this albumn of sam hui is absoutlutly brilliant!! i love his funny songs and videos. my favourate one is the mahjorng when it goes, look sum, sam ttie goong. quality. i really admire his inspriration and his hard efforts in the music industry. top dottie. |

Unbiased recomendation, ok maybe a little biased
| I totally again with you, Celine. Sam is talented in singing a variety of styles. The lyrics are sometimes humourious and emotional at times. Currently Sam is(to the best of my knowledge) living a retired life in Canada. If you happen to read this, Sam, I want to tell you that your work, both in music and acting, will never be forgotten. |
