Sea Wolves (VCD) (Hong Kong Version) VCD

The unofficial seventh entry in the seminal In the Line of Duty series of female supercop movies, 1991's Sea Wolves features Cynthia Khan (Blade of Fury, Madam City Hunter) reprising her role as Inspector Yueng, who finds herself up against a crew of modern-day pirates. Khan shares the main spotlight with Simon Yam (Bullet in the Head, Election) as one of the pirates, who's trying to help his Vietnamese friend sneak into Hong Kong and avoid being killed by his bloodthirsty crewmates. Although Yam's dilemma is the main focus of the plot, Khan still gets plenty of opportunities to demonstrate the martial arts acrobatics that made her one of the leading action ladies of the early 1990s.

John (Yam) and Keung (Norman Tsui, Duel to the Death, Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain) are part of a band of seaborne criminals who prey on Vietnamese boat people seeking asylum in Hong Kong. John is a former refugee himself, and during their latest raid he recognizes an old friend among their victims. The pirates aren't in the habit of leaving any witnesses to their crimes, however, and John has to protect his buddy from his own crewmates as well as Inspector Yueng (Khan), who's on the pirates' trail.

一艘菲律賓貨輪在香港泊岸，海關人員登船檢查，突然遇襲，一名匿藏船上的男子Gary打傷海關人員，逃到岸上。接連數日在碼頭附近發生多宗兇殺案。香港警隊楊麗青督察接手調查，推斷行兇者與Gary有關。該輪船的船長及其弟John指稱Gary是他們在公海救起的難民，他失憶及有暴力傾向。警方高層向楊麗青下令加緊追捕，必要時可行格殺令。而John也捲入案中。楊麗青追捕Gary的過程中，發現Gary本是善良的人，楊麗青深信另有內情，繼續追查，得悉菲律賓貨輪實為海盜船，船上的大副阿強才是元兇。可惜楊麗青苦無證據，上司不信她片面之詞。另一方面，Gary透過自己及John身上的狼紋身，開始漸有記憶。楊麗青遂掌握重要線索，實行大舉殲滅真正奸徒。

A Philippine freighter moors at Hong Kong, Gary on board assaults the Customs Officers making a routine inspection and escapes ashore. Then a series of homicides occur near the pier. Inspector Yang is ordered to investigate the case and she links it with Gary. Yang tries to trap Gary but the police also arrest the Captin's brother John on the spot. Yang subsequently discovers Gary to be suffering from amnesia and trends of violence but in fact, it is framed up by the mate of the Philippines pirate ship, Keung, who is the real culprit. Meanwhile, Gary regains his memory from the tattoos on the backs of himself and John, and with the clues given her by them, Yang smashes the real culprits.
