Her accent is extremely heavy but I think that only makes the album more genuine. I mean, you can't expect a native Japanese artist to just develop a perfect English speech characteristics overnight.

Well done Mai--your songs rock and your accent is actually cute! =)

I bought both Japanese and US version at same time. My verdict is that I like Japanese version better than American version. Though, it was good try.

all english lyrics are just so beautiful. Highly recommended

This cd is really great to me, although her english
isn't too good, at least she tried to do her best.
Maybe because first time I listen to 'secret of my heart' is in english version, so I still like the english one rather than the japanese, and its lyric is as good as a poem. Anyway, the reason i bought this cd
is just for Love, day after tomorrow. I believe her english version cd is much better than her japanese one, at least you understand what she's singing and the meaning when you read the lyric.

Ehh not impressed Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Well, I wasn't very much impressed with what Kuraki has done to start herself off with an English album. Usually Artists need to make a great start...but I wasn't satisfied with her voice talents here. She has a sensational voice overall -- but i really think she should work on her english a bit. But I admire her for trying out her english on her secret of my heart album. Perhaps a few years more and her english will improve.
