really awesome Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
seeya is so awesome. all 3 of them have amazing voices and they sound really good together. however, gyuri isnt quite as good at singing as poram or yeonji, but she has a great voice and is still a lot more talented than many other kpop singers. although most of the songs arent as catchy as "woman's scent" or "because of love", the rest of songs on this album are all very good (but i dont really like "tears and fears")
if you like sg wannabe, you should definitely get this album, because they are very similar to them. the singers in both groups are all amazingly talented, and some of their songs are even written by the same song-writers. but if i compare them, i think sg wannabe probably has a little bit better overall. theyre not so dominated by one singer, but in seeya yeonji does quite a bit more singing than the other 2 (but then again.. her voice is amazing)

I'm not a huge fan of SG Wannabe~ even though they are extremely talented, I think they sound better as females (referring to SeeYa, the female SG Wannabe group haha). I was watching KM and was SO blown away by the music video, which made me cry, for their OST for the kdrama The Invisible Man. I started listening more of their performances for this album and was way blown away. Too bad I ordered 2 Tei CDs from YesAsia already two days ago... I'll most definately buy this album along with Tei's next album (: SeeYa's singing gives me goosebumps~ like Tei does which is a good thing ^^ great great female group.

Great Album <33 Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is such a good album~ I previewed the first three tracks and I knew I had to get it. Their songs are great =D. Also, I just found out that Promise U (one of my favorite songs on the album -- the raps are so hot xD) is a remake of Vibe's song -- they definitely did the song justice =O. Mmm, skimming the other reviews, I would have to disagree and say that 'Scent of a Women' [Track 1] is NOT their only big hit -- it only seems that way because it was their debut song... So the others on the CD might not be as well known. And ye~ They ARE the female version of SG Wannabe, so if you like SG, you most definitely would like Seeya. Also, if you've heard and enjoyed songs by gavy nj (also known as a female version of SG, but not officially, haha), they sound similar~ (in a good way). ^__^. Awesome album; definitely worth your money~

With the help of SG WANNABE, SEEYA has been a great hit. However, some of the vocals aren't that strong.

The first track, "Scent of a Woman" is a great song indeed. But the main vocal's voice is a bit 'scratchy' when it comes to the high notes.

The rest of the album is okay. However, I only feel like "Scent of a Woman" is their only big hit. Nonetheless, it's a good album overall.

 QUALITY Girl Group. Thumbs Up. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I bought the album after hearing Nam Gyu Ri singing one line of the chorus of Track no. 1 "The Scent of a Woman" on the korean variety show, XMAN.

Amazing! It was really an abrupt decision. I was buying some other albums off, so i thought i should get a korean album thats worth the money.

After seeing reviews like "They sing like Sg wannabe" "See Ya has powerful vocal" i decided that i should buy the album.

Well now i was considering which tracks i should recommend here. But hey , now im gonna say i like ALL the songs in the album. If i were to pick out the best, it'd be Track 1,2,3,4,5. These tracks showed that See Ya can perform quite a wide genre of songs.


Frankly, the only flaw with the album is that, some songs at the back, are of very similar genre and melody. Its like the way they sing it and that the songs are being arranged are very similar. See Ya has their unique way of singing, which is the deep and powerful vocal i'd said its good. However this poses a problem; im a korean-illiterate, so it made some of the songs so similar that i cant differentiate which one im listening to, only after a few times.

Truly, i think this album is WORTH the money. This is a rare girl group that can sing very well. Most of the songs sing bout a hurt relationship (esp from females' perspective). In my opinion, See Ya can portray the devastation of the females in those love songs very well. The lyrics are good too. Credits to Sg wannabe.

I perceived that SEEYA is gonna rise to the next popular - adorable korean girl group. Hence, its a much-kept CD to the korean albums collection.
