Joining heavyweights like Lee Hyo Ri and Uhm Jung Hwa in 2008's battle of the sexy divas, Seo In Young releases her second solo album Elly is Cinderella. While her first solo album focused greatly on the star's provocative sexiness, her latest album pushes for a cute and sexy image. Co-written by Yoo Gun Hyung of rock band Amp and Psy before he headed off to military service, the album's principle track Cinderella is a dizzying concoction of electronica and punk music - the current hottest trend dominating the European club scene. Offering delightful variations to the song, the album also features the hip-hop version (Track 4) and the instrumental version (Track 6). Another electronica-infused hip-hop number that highlights Seo's trendy appeal, I Like It (Track 2) is written by the same producing team behind numerous hits for such stars as Rain, Wonder Girls, and Shinhwa. Crown J, who plays Seo's fictional husband in MBC's popular reality show We Got Married, doles out his own stylish rap and lyrics, adding much appeal to the song.
