Since then she has kept a low profile, slowly building up her resume such as theme songs for popular dramas like Solitude, Summer Scent, and Nine Tailed Fox. Reportedly ranked as the number one choice on the current songwriters' wish list, Seo has the whole industry buzzing over her new release Tears of Star. Featuring a delightful mix of ballad, dance, and rock, the album opens up with Noonmulee geulsung ("Tears" - Track 1), a sorrowful ballad that spills out heart-piercing lyrics written by renowned lyricist Shim Hyun Bo. Popular German composer/producer Geo, most notable for his collaboration with Sweetbox, gives the song a refreshing twist of Euro dance in the 7th track. Other tracks include string-laden modern rock Byeol euh moksori ("Voice of the Star" - Track 2) and cheerful uplifting number Jo eun nal ("Good Day" - Track 4).
