All of K-pop icon Seo Tai Ji's early out-of-print albums are being re-released, starting from his classic Seo Tai Ji & Boys albums all the way to his seventh release! Four years after making his solo debut, Seo Tai Ji finally returned in 2000 with his second solo effort, Ultramania. At the time, the Korean music industry had changed greatly in the span of four years with the rise of a new generation of teen idols like H.O.T, Fin.K.L, and S.E.S, but Seo Tai Ji topped the charts once again with a dark alternative rock album of nu metal and hardcore punk. The album's title song Ultramania and Internet War were both among the year's biggest hits.
The 2009 remastered repackage edition of Seo Tai Ji Vol. 6 comes with the album's six original tracks, plus six additional live and remix tracks from the limited edition Seo Tai Ji 15th Anniversary set released in 2007.

서태지와 아이들 은퇴 후 4년 7개월 만인 2000년 8월, 그가 본격적으로 무대로의 컴백을 알리며 발표한 음반 ‘Seotaiji 6’ 음반이 오는 10월 23일(금) 재발매된다.
서태지 6집은 하드코어 성향이 짙은 핌프록 계의 음반이다. 그러나 핌프록의 전형성을 벗어나 서태지만의 고유한 음악을 느껴볼 수 있다. 정확히 한 장르를 지칭하기 힘든, 서태지만의 독특한 음악세계를 잘 보여주고 있는 타이틀곡 울트라맨이야를 비롯해 대경성, 오렌지 등, 그리고 서태지와 아이들 시절의 대표적인 발라드 곡 ‘너에게’ 를 핌프록으로 편곡한 히든 트랙까지 6집은 그의 음악적 변화와 진보의 흐름 한 가운데에 서 있는 음반이다.
본 음반은 기존의 6집을 미국에서 리레코딩(모든 악기들을 재 녹음)한 버전을 또다시 리마스터링 한 음반이며 또한 [&] 서태지 15주년 기념 앨범에 추가로 수록되었던 리믹스, 라이브 음원 등이 각 재발매 음반에 보너스 트랙으로 담기게 된다. 그리고 또한 지난 재발매 음반과 마찬가지로 이번에도 재발매를 기념한 특별 한정 포스터를 각 음반 별로 이를 구매하는 팬들에게 증정할 예정이어서 재발매를 기다리는 수많은 팬들에게 특별한 선물이 될 것으로 보인다.
