Misleading title for fine drama
| I was also put off Lui Kei after viewing some of the bad movies he directed for Shaw Brothers. But this one is an exception. I picked this VCD up as it stars Asian Movie Queen Li Ching in a rather bold role. After watching it, I must say that Celestial should have released it on DVD. This is above average drama and certainly not sexploitation as the misleading title will have you believe although Chen Ping was caught peeling off her clothes in a bathroom scene. Li Ching kept her clothes and dignity on and shone in her role with able support from Lin Wei Tu and Tsung Hua.A delightful find! |

This one is OK.

I tell myself I will never watch another Dirctor Lu Chi's film after "Sexy Girls Of Denmark". But this one wasn't bad. While most of Li Ching roles have been cameo in recent release by Celestial, she starred quite prominetly here. I was a bit surprised given than Chen Ping was rather "hot" at that time, her role was very minor. This one is defintely for Li Ching's fan. The film has been titled to mislead. Quite tragic. |
