SHADOW HEARTS FROM THE NEW WORLD (Normal Edition) (Japan Version) PS2

Another new game joins the Shadow Hearts RPG series! Shadow Hearts: From the New World is the third in the series, and is set in a bustling 1929 America where violence and disorder prevail. Players take on the role of Johnny, a sixteen-year-old private detective who is commissioned to locate an escaped criminal suspect. However, Johnny witnesses a supernatural occurrence, setting off an adventure which will take him to New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, and the Grand Canyon, amongst the many other American locales. Through the discovery of ancient relics, the player can also visit ancient American civilizations, including Las Cataratas Del Iguazu, Inca Civilization and Maya Civilization. Some real-life historic figures are even scheduled to make their appearances in this title.

The Shadow Hearts RPG games are known for their alternate history settings and magic-filled storylines, and have developed a cult following due to their involving stories and sometimes irreverent sense of humor. Returning in this installment of Shadow Hearts is the Judgment Ring, the series' trademark battle system. The Ring is used to determine the kinds of attacks, or the power of the player's magic attacks.
