A dramatic revenge plot and a legendary martial arts style clash in Shaolin Hand Lock, another classic martial arts saga from the Shaw Brothers vaults! Li Chengying (David Keung) and Li Mengping (Chen Ping) are brother and sister, sworn to avenge their father who died at the hands of the diabolical Lin Hao (legendary Shaw Brothers bad guy Law Lit). Chengying tracks Lin Hao down and ingratiates himself into the man's life in order to win his favor...and then betray him. However, Kunshi (Chan Wai Man) suspects that Chengying may be a betrayer, and when Mengping makes an attack on Lin Hao's life, she demonstrates the famed Shaolin Handlock style! Lin Hao easily recognizes the martial arts style as a trademark of the Li family, which adds a new layer of suspicion and deception to the already bubbling revenge plot! Creative martial arts action and the presence of the eponymous "Shaolin Hand Lock" have raised director Ho Meng Hua's Shaolin Hand Lock to cult martial arts film status!

Shao Lin Hand Lock
| "Shaolin Hand Lock" has a common avenger-seeking-vengenance story. It started with David Chiang and Chen Ping who went to Thailand to seek revenge for their dead father. In the process, they met their long lost brother (Chen Hu Ming) and mother (Yeh Ling Zi). Eventually the brothers jointly killed the baddie Lo Lieh.The theme martial art "Shaolin hand lock" isn't that fantastic.Also,actress Yeh Ling Zi is too young for the role. However, the movie is still ok for viewing . |
