　　2002年一個舉家團圓的中秋夜晚，肖蘭蘭、韓彩鳳、張曉梅三家人聚集在張曉梅自然清新的鄉下老家為五年前同一產房出生的三個孩子過生日。熱鬧喜慶的生日宴正要開始，在外玩耍的三個孩子卻像人間蒸發一樣沒了蹤影。幾個大人從喜悅祥和的氣氛裡遭受到了巨大打擊，頓時陷入了滅頂之災。孩子的集體失蹤給三個家庭帶來了顛覆的災難。

拐賣婦女兒童的團夥將三個孩子分別賣到窮困的山區，警方經過明查暗訪，終於將肖蘭蘭的兒子解救出來。然而韓彩鳳和張曉梅的孩子，命運將是如何呢？
