October 16, 2005 One of the best John Woo films.I was really blown away the first time I saw this movie. Gun play action scenes is just awesome and very creative. I believe no other gun based action movie haven't topped this yet. Chow and Leung really shine in this film, they were incredible. Hard Boiled is classic and top notch John Woo. I was very disappointed when I popped this CD in, cause everything sounds average. There's just no more head boppin' beats, and no more very tight rhymes like the first three albums. I like those albums the most, cause those were more hardcore underground hip-hop b-boy style. I thought the 4th and 5th albums was okay, and now I'm disappointed by this.
