6 songs to knock your sock offs with!!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is the first SHINee album I have brought and I love it. The first song Y.O.U is so relaxing and the boys really show off their vocal talents but then the next track knocks your socks off with it's fast beats and addictive lyrics. It is so different from the first track but equally impressive. Another song to mention is Get Down a heavy beat with a gangster rap feel that again shows another side to this band although I recommend that you don't play it while driving as it really makes you wanna drive real fast but it has some siren affects going on and every time I hear it I think the police are after me for speeding of something!!!! oh dear:) Anyway I can't believe how talented and versatitle this group are, I only hope that they release a full length album really soon as they are some serious contenders in the k-pop boy band battle!!!!!!!

All I have to say is ... wow!
This album is amazing! The photo book has great pictures of all the boys (and might I say, Onew and Jonghyun, you are looking mighty fine), and the black/red color scheme is really pleasing to the eye.
The CD itself is actually in the photo book, with no protection, so I put it in a separate case (which might be the only bad thing).
There is great variety in the songs, from more soothing ballads like Onew's solo and 'Y.O.U', to upbeat dance songs, like 'Ring Ding Dong'. None of the songs are quite like mainstream K-pop today, and show a lot of creativity and daring on their part. '
My favorite out of the lot is 'Get Down', which has a lot of rap and a R&B feel, as well as Ring Ding Dong', which I'm sure everyone has heard. 'Jojo' is also extremely catchy, and I liked it on the first listen ('Get Down' took a few tries, but the more you hear it the more you like it).

Overall, the quality of this album more then meets my expectations. It's a must-buy if you're a fan of SHINee, and even if you're not, this would be a good venture! Support SHINee! :)

i have been anticipating receiving this album ever since i knew it was on yesasia to pre-order!!!
being a hardcore SHINee fan, i enjoy everything they produce.
and i'm telling you, if you LOVE SHINee and your don't buy this mini album, you're missing out on something!!!
The first time i heard Ring Ding Dong i repeated it 100 times in a row. It was just so catchy and addictive!Though my friends thought the "fantastic elastic" bit was "lame", i LOVED it!!Y.O.U. is also a really good song!! the "nothing can stop me from loving you~ you~ you~" is so soothing to listen to (:
Another one of my favourite tracks from this mini album is JoJo, there's something about this song that appeals to me. It's also very catchy and all of their voices sound amazing!!!Get Down...well Minho and Key definitely SHINE!!!! even though i don't understand the language i can feel the improvement in their rapping ^^
haha i must comment on Onew's solo though, 'Naega Sarang Haedeon Ireum'...it's such a beautiful song and his vocals with Kim Yeon Woo intertwine perfectly (:
this is a great album ^^
so 10/10 for me (:

I made a mistake earlier when I said SHINee Girl sounds like their other songs - it doesn't. It has a somewhat chaotic feel to it...makes me think of roulettes for some reason. Awesome song still.

I highly advise people to purchase this mini-album. All their songs are different in genre, many of them have a 80, 90's feel to it but modernized. It's a lovely mix all in all. Everyone, and I mean everyone, has improved and shown a different vocals. I have heard a voice I don't quite recognize in SHINee girl...it could be Minho!

100% satisfied with their mini-album Y.O.U. The mix of songs they have show their growth and maturity (in style and vocals). I absolutely love that Y.O.U, Jo Jo, and Get Down have an old school feel to them. Ring Ding Dong has a strong beat that is addictive to listen to. Shinee Girl sounds more like their other songs (which is a good thing). Onew's solo is so beautiful - fell in love with it in one listen.

The only thing I didn't like was the way the CD is packaged - it's inserted right into the photobook. I have no idea how I'm going to protect/preserve the CD and photobook since it's all paper and no hard covering.... Other than that, I love this mini-album! The photos are dark and...grungy. It's black and white with a splash of red and sometimes blue.

I bought the Korean version - very well worth every cent I spent.
