While numerous idol bands have checked in and out of the K-pop scene over the past decade, only one has emerged as the true survivor: Shinhwa. The longest running Korean idol group as of 2008, Shinhwa has managed to sustain a high level of popularity throughout their ten years together. Having not only enjoyed many chart-topping singles, but also cultivated distinctive image and personalities for each of its members, Shinhwa has solidified their status as pop culture icons. 2008 marks the celebration of their 10th anniversary as well as a turning point for the group as Kim Dong Wan, Eric Mun, and Lee Min Woo gear up to enlist in the military, followed by Jun Jin and Andy in the next two years.
To commemorate their achievement, Shinhwa presents a special limited edition of their ninth album. The album features a bevy of some of the best talents in the industry such as esteemed composer Kwon Tae Eun and his team of "ThePlayDoG", Lee Sang In who previously wrote Shinhwa's Your Man and Lee Min Woo's Beeya, and Vink of Monotonic. Composed by Kim Jae Suk of Wanted and penned by Choi Gaap Won, Dashi han beonman ("Just One More Time") is a lush string-infused R&B ballad with a moving chorus featuring all of Shinhwa's six members.
This edition comes with an A4-sized booklet which contains 120 pages of photos featuring Shinhwa's powerful masculine appeal taken by famous photographer Cho Sun Hee.
Note: Unlike the Korea version of Shinhwa Vol. 9 First Press Limited Edition, this International version does not have serial number affixed holograms.

i can't believe i paid only 19 bucks (AU) for all this! my first monetry support for SHINHWA! and i'm so glad i got this. It was so beautiful when i first opened it haha. The box thing.. the cardboard bound photo album.. the cd.. shiny and smexy! -there is a massive photoalbum with picture perfect printing and lovely printing paper (im so scared of geting fingerprint stains on them haha) cmon, 120 pages of fantastic pictures of the shinhwa guys, how can you resist? out of the 100+ pages, there is like, 2 pages that i dont like. which means 118 pages of AWESOMENESS lols - the cd contains 10 tracks, most of them insanely good like So In Love, RUN (AHHHH! spazzes at how good it is, and to think MINBONG composed the music + wrote the lyrics for it... oh and sang it of course with the guys.. their so talented haha) Voyage is great.. so soulful and beautiful in a Fly to the Sky sort of way Ma Luv is =]] - two tracks that didn't flo so well with me were eric's 2 rap songs, it was like ice-t sort of thing but if you like that stuff then s'all good, doesnt really matter cos there are 8 other awesome tracks it's fanTAZZY! =D |

Great Buy!

I'm a very new Shinhwa fan and this is the first album of theirs I've bought. And I have to say $25 is a FANTASTIC deal for this!! They're practially GIVING it away! O_o The book is huge, 8.5x11 for us atupid Americans who don't know what A4 means. It's beautifully hardbound and solid. The pictures are awesome and the cd itself is just wonderful. I love every song on it. Even track 9, which is a talking track of course in Korean so I've no clue what they're saying. But still, I listen to their voices and they all sound so happy. It's really nice. If you haven't already bought this get it now! Before yesasia realises how cheaply they're letting this go! |

This 10th anniversary album has a list of touching titles of track.. When I read out the titles, I feel terribly sad.. It seemed that Shinhwa would like to mark out this album as their last album prior their obligation to military service. Last Train Home, Voyage, One More Time Again, Free Style, Run, To My Love, We Can Get It On, So In Love. Shinhwa members would like to say goodbye to their fans by taking their Last Train Home for their Voyage to step up into different world. This album is a sign of Shinhwa's love to their fans One More Time Again before they leave the music industry where they have Free Style Run, so Shinhwa would like the fans To be their Love so that Shinhwa and Fans Could Get It On. This is the mark of Shinhwa for being So In Love to their Fan. |

Yay ShinHwa

At first, I thought it was kind of expensive for just a CD and a book...but when I got it, I saw quickly how worth it it was. The book is bigger than I thought and the pictures are really cool...they guys look good and the photos show them serious and having fun. They don't look forced or anything. The CD is great. I'm a big ShinHwa fan, but this is definitely one of my favorite albums by them. A couple of slow songs, some cool dance songs. So In Love is probably my favorite. It's got a good beat to it, but all in all, I'm not disappointed with it at all...even though there is 1 talking track and I don't speak Korean :) |
