Excellent ! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've never felt inclined to watch any of Hitomi's PV's because I just feel that her songs are wonderful enough which gives me a very good impression. " Shinku " is a superb song I have to say. It's a very powerful and up-tempo song that reminds me of Nami Tamaki's songs .... However that is not to say that she is overshadowed and can't be better than Nami. I find " Shinku " very appealing because Hitomi pulls the vocals off nicely and doesn't get too drowned out by the fast music. Since this is my first try on Hitomi's music, I can only say that she sounds good with such songs and it wouldn't hurt to produce more =)
" Ai no Uta " is the total opposite of the previous song. It's a very slow song with some lovely piano melodies. Hitomi shines here as her strong and steady vocals fits into the song perfectly. It's like an angel singing really. That's how good she is.
1 fast track and 1 slow track pretty sums up this wonderful and well balanced single. Forget those PV's and just focus on her singing because this is what Hitomi is all about ^^

Unique & Beautiful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is certainly a gigantic step up from "Neva Eva", "PASIO", and "Dragonfly"! Hitomi Shimatani has impressed me for the first time since "Destiny -Taiyou no Hana-"! This single is extremely original and unique. "Shinku" is very cool and distinct. The PV is very interesting too and breaks her recent dry spell where her PVs were dreadfully boring. It's entertaining and very different. Hitomi also looks gorgeous in it. That's reason alone to buy the CD+DVD version.

"Ai no Uta" is gorgeous and I believe her vocals on it are heaps better than Koda Kumi's vocals on her new song "Ai no Uta"! This is definitely the better choice and you can see the beauty and rarity that is Miss Shimatani. She is someone who definitely deserves more attention than she gets. She's very classy, elegant, and yet very cool too.

GREATLY RECOMMENDED! I'd say this is the single to buy along with Ayumi Hamasaki's "talkin' to myself" CD+DVD! Certainly two of the best singles coming out.
