Developed by the same team behind the ninja-centric Tenchu games, Shinobido Imashime presents a new stealth action experience for the PS2. Players take on the role of Gou, a shadowy ninja who has no recollection of his past. Much of the game revolves around guiding Gou in his quest to discover the truth - but more important to the gamer are the crafty ninja skills and deadly weaponry at Gou's disposal! Throwing stars, grappling hooks, land mines, etc., can all be employed to take out Gou's numerous foes, and the player can employ either stealth or straight-up swordplay to progress through the game. As usual for the genre, stealth kills play a big part, but Shinobido Imashime presents a new twist with its impressive physics engine. Objects react realistically to their environments - especially fallen foes, whose bodies' physical weight can have varying effects on gameplay.
