February 5, 2008 Mai-K is back for the best !Mai Kuraki is signing her return with an excellent album and the collaboration with Aika Ohno is a good thing. I have a little preference for this album over the previous ones (except the two firsts which are the best).
The songs I prefer are "Shiroi Yuki", "Season of Love" (Ballads), "One Life" (Pop), "Wonderland" (RnB).
The most amazing song is definitively "Over The Rainbow" which melts jazz / piano bar and pop... Using the sweet voice of Mai Kuraki, it is really relaxing and pleasant !Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

This CD is well balanced between highly rhythmed songs and slow ballads. You will find a killing sound in this album !!! It is really nice to hear such a beat to wrap this extraordinary voice.
This album is featured by many released singles. You will find a remix of Taiyou No Maraika (#14) at the end of the album. I am also happy to discover that the interludes are back... It reminds "Mother Brother Father Sister" and "Love Is The Message" albums.

Lee Soo Young Vol. 8
November 4, 2007 The queen of ballads is backIf you like Lee Soo Young, this album won't disappoint you : you will retrieve her sweet melodies with a more modern sound. Irish style is also present in some of the new songs, as usual.
But the strong point of this album is the quality and the number of the ballads : 사랑이 다 그렇지, 멍하니, 멋진 그대, 참 이런 날도 오네요, 라벤다, 오래된 사이 and 다 이루었노라. This two last songs are also my favorites.
You will have to notice that this album features 13 tracks and 2 interludes. This is definitively a good choice to discover Lee Soo Young for those who didn't know her, for the others, this will be another excellent album to have in our collection.Did you find this review helpful? February 17, 2007 A strong album !
I definitely agree with Ryan, this 7th album from MISIA is really excellent. MISIA joins again her roots with ASCENSION. Some of the new songs could very well have been on the preceding albums. February 20, 2006 A must have
To my mind, it's the best album of Jolin. You must have it, especially because this version comes with all the Magic CD MV. I love the happy tracks, but my favorites ones stay the ballads. However, since her second album "Perfect Crime", her style have slightly changed. To my mind, "Fairy Tales" was too heterogeneous : some songs make the album unpleasant after several listenings. That was corrected with "If I Believe", the 4th album. Here is the 5th one, "Fuse of Love" which comes with a lots of sweet songs and really easy to listen. I recommend this album to everybody who knows or doesn't know Mai Kuraki, and likes songs with light melodies and love and joy feelings.
