Making a splash at the 2006 Golden Horse Film Festival with Amour-Legende, new-generation Taiwanese director Wu Mi Sen belongs to a new class of Taiwanese directors, whose youth-oriented pop arthouse works are revitalizing both Taiwan's commercial cinema and artistic language. This three-disc release comes with Wu's 2007 short film Missing, plus other short films and his earlier works Fluffy Rhapsody (2000), Drop Me @ Cat (2003).

Disc 1: Missing
Eleven-minute short Missing was made as part of a series of short films meant to combine poetry and imagery. Of the five directors who participated in the project, Wu was the only one who did not use a poem as inspiration. Instead, he turned a touching story he once taught his students into an animated fairy tale about a boy who runs off to India to catch mice, and finds himself farther and farther from home. This disc also includes the short films Go-raku-en (1997 / 7min), Diva Viva (2008 / 13min), Revolution N. 9 (2003 / 13min), Van Gogh's Ear (1995 / 20min).

Disc 2: Drop Me a Cat
Wu Mi Sen's 2002 debut feature-length film won Best Art Direction at the 39th Golden Horse Awards with its beautiful and haunting aesthetics, somewhere between postmodern and magical, and the film positively enchants with its fairy-tale story. The quirky characters, flight-of-fancy sequences, whimsical score, and elliptical narrative make for a mesmeric, melancholic, and meditative take on life, death, and the imagined reality in between. On the eve of the new millennium, brooding loner Hei Shu (Takeda Shinji, The Happiness of the Katakuris) finally gets a job, and starts playing in a brass band for weddings and funerals. One day his cat, left behind by his late girlfriend, suddenly disappears. Just as suddenly, a mysterious young woman (Terri Kwan, The Heirloom) appears in his life - could she be his cat in another form? - and soon strange things begin to occur everywhere he goes.

Disc 3: Fluffy Rhapsody
This 60-minute short follows the meandering misadventures of an aimless medical school graduate who has never kept a job and wanders from the bed of one girl to another. He becomes caught between his flight attendant girlfriend who is often away and a high school girl who claims to be a lesbian. A mixture of fast living and brooding melancholy, Fluffy Rhapsody is an engaging, photogenic essay on the current generation of seemingly thoughtless, but in fact overly introspective urban youth.

1.思念
小黑沒有告訴媽媽，自己就偷偷跑去印度抓老鼠。有一個印度人告訴他說：「印度象害怕老鼠，以至交通大亂，所以印度人沒辦法坐大象去公司上班。」去抓老鼠可以賺很多錢，小黑心想，賺錢了，我就可以讓媽媽得到很多幸福。他以為印度的時間和我們不一樣，賺錢回來時，這裡好像才過了1分鐘。

小黑長大後服用了鮭魚與候鳥提煉的藥，尋覓回家的路，正當一切線索都如他所期待的越來離家越近時，途中遇到一個捕獵犀牛角的獵人。小黑聽說有個恐怖的妖怪，獵人認為是妖怪吃掉了小黑的媽媽。於是他決定運用在印度學到的本事 去捕捉妖怪。可是，這獵人誤會了一件事，其實媽媽並不是被妖怪吃掉的…

「2007影像詩」是由五位導演，五種風格，各用十分鐘影像書寫一首詩，文字的「詩」和影像的「詩」如何連結，如何對位與錯位？
當「影像」碰上「詩」，又會激盪出什麼樣的創意精靈？

導演「吳米森」拍攝的影像詩「思念」，是五位導演中唯一沒有使用詩人詩作的作品。
內容是他多年前，給學生的課堂作業裡的感人故事。
他將學生母親遭土石流活埋的真實情景，改編成童話。
邀請曾獲台灣國際動畫影展首獎的潘心屏將故事畫成動畫。
擔任旁白配音的是森林小學校長朱台翔。

歌德童年時曾以夢境為基礎，套用在現實環境裡的地圖，繪聲繪影講給其他小朋友聽童話。
他們聽了之後，個個神往地遁尋著歌德口述裡中的夢境走上一遭。夢中那座險惡城牆或花園、隱居的老人與在指尖上跳舞的精靈，每每因個人尋幽訪勝當下的心理狀況而產生不同的版本。多采多姿的童話更添神秘甚至於逼近真實！這就是影像詩裡的「詩與真實」！

一切來都自潔美的防空洞…
小時候，黑樹和妹妹潔美有一個秘密基地~潔美喜歡在黑黑的防空洞裡聽哥哥講故事。黑樹最常講的是前世是日本人的傳奇事蹟。那年的颱風夜妹妹像瓦礫塑膠袋般長了翅膀。從此以後黑樹和整個世界的關係變的無比的輕盈。電視裡的杲雅琪說如果你的貓。送不出去的貓只好將丟棄在「遠方」。當晚一名神秘的女孩，養樂多，貓一樣的出現在他的生活…
因為土匪的關係加入了一個叫「夢中見」的讀書會。一個無聊的午後陰錯陽差的接了一位貴婦預約的生意---在富商的喪禮上的演奏ShiSoMi。為了證明自己是有用的人，於是他們開始日以繼夜的練習。富商重病康復，家屬急忙取消預約。一連串光怪陸離的事件陸續發生了，黑樹的偶像-知性電視節目主持人杲雅琪竟透過電視對他講話：他將遭國家密秘機構暗殺以達成政府的跨世紀優生計劃…

高達長期販賣的「死亡滋味方程式」終於有了第一個顧客，黑樹。在上個世紀的最後一天，黑樹與養樂多於是甜蜜地靜靜等待死亡的眷顧。潔美也娓娓道來那個屬於颱風夜晚的故事。然而一切的秘密在千禧夜終於有了答案和小小的驚喜…
