Trendsetting Taiwan pop idol Show Luo has again showed us the foremost in fashion with his 2010 new album. Luo Sheng Men (the title inspired by Rashomon) is the stylish dance king's seventh solo album, released about a year after last winter's Trendy Man. It carries songs from his latest idol drama Hi My Sweetheart co-starring Rainie Yang, including the opening theme "Love Crazy Head", featured songs "Love Doesn't Come Alone" and "Biological Clock", as well as the album first plug "Love's Home Turf".

One of his best Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album was a very different album than Show's other albums. For the first time in Show's CD I hear him challenging different genres of music. You always expect to hear catchy beats, fast songs and sweet ballads but this time Show has some jazzy songs too. People always challenge that Show isn't a good singer but #4, #5 #8 , #11 clearly shows that he has strong vocals. This is a great addition to those who watched " Hi My Sweetheart" but for those who didn't try it out, Guarantee you'll be mesmerized!

 Not a perfect album, but nevertheless commendable! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
If there’s one thing I can’t understand, it’d be the unfavourable reviews from a majority of professional critics on this album.

In fact, I pretty much enjoy listening to this album of Show’s, at least much more than his previous works. His vocals have improved and the choices of songs for this album move towards a broader range. No doubt that his vocals might not be one of the best around, but whatever he lacks in, he makes it up with catchy beats, stunning dance moves and dazzling visuals. Of course it’d be unfair to compare him to the levels of Justin Timberlake or Rain but to be honest, he’s a rare all-round idol icon in the Taiwan entertainment industry right now. At least I don’t think you can see someone like him in the Taiwan entertainment industry within the next 10 years.

The album kicks off with the energetic disco songs “Lover’s Puzzle” and “The Leading Role” – Show’s trade mark dance songs. The R&B ballad “Body Clock” is an easy-to-digest track which complements Show’s vocal range. My favourite got to be the tracks “I’ll get used to it” and “You are not alone” (the ending theme song for his drama, Hi My Sweetheart), which is a ballad song with melancholic lyrics – a song which leaves you thinking, is there really someone out there whose heart is waiting for you?

My least favourite track would be the song “WOW”, featuring Elva Hsiao. In fact I don’t see the chemistry between Show and Elva, and Show only plays a minor part in this song. More like WOW by Elva Hsiao feat. Show.

Recommended tracks: All except Track 9 (Got you nailed) and 12 (Wow feat. Elva).

A really great album, I think this one and his last one, Trendy Man, are his best albums. #1, #3, #4, #6, #8, #9 are really great songs. Especially #9 gives you a really different feeling of Show's music, I believe he never sang such kind of song before, but I really liked it. Not to mention two duets are included which are both great. And if you are also a fan of Hi my sweetheart, then this is definitely a must buy, after all there are 4 songs included which was heard in the drama. So I recommend everyone who is a fan of Show to buy this and those who likes to try something new which is really good and it probably will be of everyone's taste, since I think this album's songs varies many kinds of music.
