YesAsia Editorial Description

Silence now comes with making-of features and photos from the TV series!

Silence no doubt is one of the recent dramas to keep an eye out for. It stars a dream cast led by Vic Chou from the renowned Taiwanese group F4 and Korean actress Park Eun Hye who starred in Dae Jang Geum alongside Lee Young Ae. Mando-pop singer Megan Lai and Canto-pop idol Andy Hui also join the cast of this romantic TV drama about a love that is brewed in silence. Vic Chou stars as an arrogant young man born to an entrepreneur family, and Park Eun Hye is a mute girl who cannot voice out her feelings to others.

Vic Chou is Wei Yi, a 25-year-old young man who has just taken over his father's business. On his first day on board, he decides to carry out a massive lay-off. An assertive leader, Wei Yi suddenly faces his greatest blow in life when he is diagnosed with a terminal illness which leaves him three months' time to live. He has never forgotten a girl named Shen Shen whom he met when he was 12 years old. She lost her voice and her mother in a car accident then, and the two kids promised to meet again 13 years later. Now 25 years old, Shen Shen (Park Eun Hye) has been living with long-time friend Jun (Andy Hui) and his father. Misunderstandings abound when the two childhood sweethearts unknowingly meet up again, as it turns out Jun's father is one of the lay-offs.

Silence delivers Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
After reading the sypnosis por for this drama I had no interest in watching it, but I stumbled into it and said, "What the heck" and watched it. This series, though flawed in many levels, it is well acted and you can't take your eyes from Vic. I found the last episode more moving than expected. I am no crybaby, yet I cried my eyes out. I have since purchased this series and plan on watching it again. P.S. If you don't have patience for log and numerous flasbacks, use the fastfordward feature on your dvd player.

Very sad and boring movie Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I wish Vic Zhou didn't have to die in this film. I also wish that Ms. Park, leading lady of Vic Zhou can speak in this film. It will help and make this film a lot more fun to watch.

predictable and boring Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
Once again Vic display the same old Hua Ze lei. He is not cool enough much less "cold hearted". He is too cute, which makes his character unconvincing. Imagine Hua Ze Lei with other girl, thats all about it. I yawn most of the time.

Vic is so cute! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Although the plot is not as good as "Mars", but I think Vic & Park Eun Hye did a good job here. I can feel the warmth in my heart every time Wei Yi and Shen Shen communicate with each other through the look in their eyes and sign language. The use of sign language is another part which makes the series so beautiful. Everything is great except I don't like the ending.

I also love the soundtrack of this series! Also a must-have item!

Another predictable sob story! Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
Thought I would expire first before CHI WEI YI (Vic's character). So slow moving and predictable. He and Ms Park are supposed to be lovers but there is no closeness between them (they may be good individually but not as a couple). Hui Chee Oon is good except he has such an idiotic role and those China actors, same old expressions throughout the show. See one and you've seen them all kind of Korean-inspired soaps.
