February 6, 2009 Legends in the making.It was obvious from day one that these boys were destined to become super stars. This album is my favourite DBSK to date, even though vocally, they weren't as strong as they are now, their potential shined through the songs. I thoroughly enjoyed all the songs on this album. Thinking of them as new comers, putting together this together an album of this superb quality and of this standard is probably expected of artists with a wealth of experience. But they did it, they definitely showed and proved that they were artists to be reckoned with. Miduhyo and Hug are still some of my favourite DBSK's songs. Did you find this review helpful? The long awaited comeback did not disappoint, the boys provided an album that simply lived up to their status as one of the best Korean artists. You can always expect outstanding ballads and up-beat tracks that make you want to get up and dance. The extra 4 tracks tie in very well with the others, mainly being ballads and soft tones. You can tell that they keep setting the bar higher for themselves, in displaying a more harmonised sound. I also noticed that RyeoWook and KyuHyun from Super Junior feature in the song 'Wish'.
All in all, I love everything about this album, their concept, their sound, the images really do show off a more masculine and extremely appealing sides of the members.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 6, 2009 AmazingAlex's voice is definitely one that soothes the soul. When I found out that Alex was releasing a solo album, I knew I had to get it and it wasn't a disappointment. His album has a mixture of ballads and soft pop and jazz songs, overall it works. His voice is definitely made for ballads and he really does showcase his vocal talent. I had this album on repeat for about a month, and til this day I'm not sick of it. With that said, the album has a romanticised tone to it and draws out a range of emotion with catchy beats to make one feel airy.
The packaging is very nicely done, with and added 'Photowall' which are basically colour and sepia toned (very clear) pictures of Alex printed on cardboard. It had dotted lines which allow you to tear (if you wish) each picture apart instead of leaving it as a horizontal accordion type display. What I found unique was this red fabric tag that is attached to the inside photo album. November 25, 2008 MagnificentThis poster is spectacular, I really love the image they selected for it. What I didn't expect was that the poster is HUGE. It's a lot bigger than I expected, almost double the size of a 'normal' sized poster (it's quite a long poster). The tone of the poster is a lot darker than what is shown in the picture above but that's probably the only difference between the real thing and the preview image. Most recommended for any DBSK fan.
