    Marvellous singing: "Smart I.D." ~ Hacken Lee

    Hacken Lee, the Universal Music (HK) lead male singer, rides on the fame when he claimed the Most Popular Singer Award last year and has released a brand new album featuring a total of 10 mouth-watering Cantonese tracks.

    Quality prevails in the album. Single-handedly written by local genius lyricist and composer, Wyman Wong, the 10 songs are barely monotonous or boring. The songs describe an unexpectedly wide spectrum in life and are tailor-made, or even personalised for Hacken. As for his singing, it gets only better and better. The album has seen the Canto-pop king developed more matured and outstanding skills and that allows "Smart I.D." to become a more-than-brilliant album.

    "Six Feet Story" (Track#1), the melodic prinipal track, describes precisely most lovers' dilemma of needing freedom and space and wanting to be cared. Unfortunately, the unattractive rhythm has dampened the brilliance of Hacken's singing and the musical build-up.

    "Location of Goodbye Kiss" (Track#2), composed by Gigi Leung, is the second leading tune. The eye-catching title does capture much attention though it is not as surprisingly good as the previous smash hits "Tall Girl".

    While the record company strongly recommends "Slam The Door" (Track#3), which is indeed a nice piece of musical work, "That Should Be Me" (Track#7) is the present reviewer's real favourite. This beautiful song is built on a movie-like background and actually tells a dramatic story.

    Also, Lee does well too in "Time For Medicine" (Track#8), "You Cannot Sing" (Track#5) and "Morning of the End of the World" (Track#10).

    Recommendations: "Six Feet Story" (Track#1), "Slam The Door" (Track#3), "That Should Be Me" (Track#7) and "Morning of the End of the World" (Track#10)

    Once again this is the CD that you have to own from Hacken. So far he has never disappoint me and his songs are all great. I own almost all of his CD and each time he gets better and better. Definitely one that you must have.

    u are over-confident that u can influence other ppl's purchasing choices,u're kinda rare human being or mayb not.mayb u would enjoy putting urself to compare with others but singers cant be compared cause its based on their borned sound and cannot be altered,if they do its also minor changes...more over u compared to Jacky,y not u compare urself to Albert Einstein?how pityful u're now...haha

    Overrated???Really??? Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
    as v know....not every album of a particular singer will suit our taste,never compare coz there is few million singers in this world ok?i'm sure you yourself hate to be compared tough...think of it,one's album is made for his fans and music lovers(if the found it nice to them) but not for comparison...jz comment on how to improve n not affecting ppl's choice..
    about this album, i myself jz like about 4 to 5 songs but as long as its more than 50% acceptable,it earn my cash...kinda hard to find ppl who really know how to SING...(as we can see on those NEW/FRESH singers..'WHAT ARE THEY SINGING?')....haha

    This cd is absolutely fantastic. It has alot of good songs but the disappointing thing is it is a rather short cd lasting only for about 30 minutes. Although tyhe slow songs are great and romantic, the faster ones are pretty much the same but I do recommend this cd. (Since hacken is stunnin).
