Showcases the talents of great Japanese R&B singer

This is a great CD for anyone who is interested in listening to Japanese R&B singers. They've combined the songs from the best R&B singers into one big compilation, also introducing newcomer Sowelu in her album debut with one of her songs, "Across My Heart." All songs were chosen well (although they should have picked a more R&B-flowing song from Chemistry; "Pieces of a Dream" is simply a pop song). But clearly, these are great songs -- Hirai Ken's "Miracles," S.O.S.'s "tears on snow," DOUBLE's "Bed"... all of these are great examples. If you want to get into R&B or if you're a fan, this is a great CD to own because it has the best from the best. |
