Oh, they're So Cute !

This wild movie about a strange father, his three weird sons and a vividly liberal girl takes you on an unusual cinematic journey with memorable moments full of high-quality performances.

The somewhat peculiar Su-ro (Jang Seon-wu) shares his life with his three sons Kaeko (Son Woo), 963 (Kim Seok-hun) and Kosigi (Jeong Jae-young) that are all far from being geniuses with nothing to show but some potential character weaknesses. To make the chaos complete, they are later on joined by the exceedingly open-minded girl Sun-yi (Ye Ji-won) who adds even more confusion to this nest of fools.

Talented director Jang Seon-wu who also stars as So Cute's pivotal character Su-ro received a nomination for the movie's ambitious efforts at this year's Pusan International Film Festival. Ye-Ji-won ( First Amendment ) and Jeong Jae-young ( Sil Mi Do , Someone Special ) complement each other perfectly offering some of their best silver screen performances to date.

그녀가 한 번 웃자, 와르르 무너졌다.
한 지붕 네 남자, 그 사이에 끼어 든 그녀!

어머니는 제각각 이지만 그 딴 건 애저녁에 관심 없는 동갑내기 형제가 있습니다. 이들 중 장남은 퀵서비스맨 963입니다. 괜히 우울한 척, 센치한 척 후까시 팍팍 부리는 고독한 라이더죠. 둘째 개코는 발라당 까져서는 애비를 우습게 여기지만, 그래도 젤 효잡니다. 늘그막의 적적함을 눈치 빠르게 알아주거든요. 아버지 장수로 씨는 한때 최고로 많이 퍼뜨려졌던 씨(?)입니다. 아들 점지를 위해 찾아온 여인네들마다 씨를 나누어 주어 한 이름 날렸던... 다 한 때 얘깁죠. 여기에 뒤늦게 합류한 아들이 있습니다. 셋째라고 하기엔 좀 뭐시기 하지만 가장 늦게 이 집의 멤버가 된 죄로 셋째가 되어버린 아주 뭐시기한 건달, 뭐시기. 철거깡패인 그는 부수고 때리러 온 황학동에서 아버지와 배다른 형제들을 만납니다. 그리고 이렇게 발랄한(?) 집안에 한 여자가 나타납니다.

여자 앞에선 우,아래도 없다!!

개코가 지 아부지 외로워 뵌다고 길에서 줏어온 여자 순이. 이 순이라는 여자가 말이죠, 신통한 능력이 있습디다. 글쎄 남자들이 순이만 보면 폭 빠져서 어쩔 줄을 몰라 한다는 거 아닙니까.. 순진한 듯, 헤픈 듯, 그녀의 까르르~ 하는 웃음소리에 온 집안 남자들이 딱 걸렸습니다. 아버진 신이 내려주질(?) 않아 매일 밤 순이랑 손만 잡고 자야 하니 미치겠고, 큰 아들놈은 순이랑 한 번 하는 야시시 구라 일기나 적고, 둘째 놈은 지가 데려와 놓곤 맘대로 안되니깐 갖다 버리질 않나. 셋째는 최고죠. 순이는 나의 엄니라믄서 가슴 한번만 만져보자는 뻔뻔스러움이란. 하긴 엄니 가슴 만지는 게 뭐가 이상할지 모르겠습니다만… 아무튼 집안이 아주 난리가 났습니다.

그녀의 진심은 누구??

네 부자는 순이의 진심을 아무래도 알 수가 없어 답답하기만 합니다. 순이는 그들의 마음을 아는 지 모르는지, 장수로의 말빨에 그저 헤벌레~, 963에게는 “넌 내 첫사랑”이라며 자못 진지해집니다. 개코에게는 “나랑 자기랑 그렇고 그런 사이”라며 또 한번 까르르, 뭐시기의 ‘엄니’ 소리엔 주저없이 훌러덩 웃통을 벗습니다. 그래서 순이가 누구랑 연결되냐구요? 여자 하나 때문에 집안이 콩가루가 되겠다구요? 글쎄요, 그건 좀 더 두고 봐야겠는데요. 탁구공이 어디로 튈 진 아무도 예측할 수 없답니다. 까르르~
