Great! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Great cd!
The beggining is great with rock songs but the middle and the end is little more soft. I tought it could use a little bit more rock songs.
But it's good ^^
Buy it!
I think the first album is a little bit better tought.

-Question- Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
To everyone who bought this: is there anything special about the Japan Version of this cd? What is the packaging like? Is it in a jewel case or something better looking? Is there a thick booklet with lots of pictures along with the Japanese lyrics or is it just the lyrics in a thin booklet? Are there any bonus/hidden tracks? Sorry for all the questions. I am just wondering because sometimes when you buy a Japan version cd it's really fancy packaging so that's why it costs more. And other times it is just in a jewel case with a thin booklet, nothing special and you wish you'd just bought the overseas version. I love AKFG and want to get the most bang for my buck. Thank you!

A great album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Every time I listen to AKFG, I'm still amazed. I have never heard a song from them that I haven't liked. I was a little hesitant to spend nearly $30 on an album that I'd never heard, but I'm so happy I did. If you're not sure whether you should buy it or not, you NEED to get it. The vocals are great, and everyone in this band is talented. This isn't a manufactured band. They're absolutely amazing. Support this incredible band!

Another Good Offering Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Sol-Fa, Asian Kung-fu Generation's newest cd, is pretty close to what I've come to expect from the band. If you are already a fan, you won't find yourself disappointed, and otherwise you'll soon find yourself a fan. Standout tracks include number two, "Rewrite," the theme song from Full Metal Alchemist, and a moving, rocking song with strong vocals and an interesting "hop, hop, hop, growlllll" interlude, and twelve, "Loop & Loop," which rolls and does a brilliant job of ending the cd well. The lead singer for the band has certainly made considerable strides in his singing range, but it also feels that some of the band's fire and willingness to scream, so plentiful in earlier works, has faded. My primary criticism of the band lies in that, yes, most of their songs sound the same, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. They show this by delivering a high quality cd filled with enjoyable, if not immediately memorable, tunes to keep you air-drumming, whereever you are.

A must-get Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Asian Kung-Fu Generation, since their first mini-album to Solfa, has been incredible. I love every single song on this album; each is its own entity with rockin' music and moving lyrics. Vocalist Masafumi Gotou said he writes each song as though they were all meant to be singles, not just-take-up-enough-time-to-make-it-an-album songs. A must-get for those wanting to try Japanese music.

get it Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
lets make it clear that asian kung-fu generation isnt just 1 of those gothic japanese bands that dress in black and where girly lookin' clothes. these guys have great rhythm, and i dress casually unlike most j-rock bands. they certainly arent quite like any other band, and u really "feel" something from their music cuz it has a lot of meaning.

in conclusion, BUY THIS ALBUM, and any other albums yesasia offers from them.

not even kidding. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
one of the best CD's to come out this year. The once j-indie band has come out, and has hit hard. With the a great mixture of music and vocals, this group has put out a masterpiece.
every song is enjoyed, and album you can listen to comepletely over and over.

Awesome :D Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I love this album, at first i thought it was a little slow if you minus all the singles they have released, but it really is amazing. Sounds more experimental, but to me it really isn't a bad thing... this album is definately worth buying! Quite a soothing album really, has a good blend of faster style Asian Kung-Fu Generation and the slower style they do too, really is great! I love these guys!!
