Singer/actor Leon Lai is also investing in the East Asia record label and is responsible for the release of such newcomers as Janice and Charles Ying. The latest treasure from his label is now available as Songs Of Painting.
The hit-filled compilation offers fans such goodies as the X'mas Mix of 24, a passionate duet by Janice and Charles, and "Lonely" (Track 4) performed by Janice's younger twin sister, Jil. Chapman To can be heard and seen singing a rock-version of Leon's up-tempo hit "Eyes Want to Travel" (Track 2 and 5), while Michael Kong can be both seen and heard in the MV of "Agreement" (Track 3 and 11) as well as heard performing his earlier classic "Fairy Tale" (Track 6). The theme song for the new Leon Lai movie Moonlight in Tokyo, co-starring Chapman To, is also included (Track 14). Overall Leon seems to be doing quite well in his newly acquired position as this unique compilation of fine Canto-pop proves!

Track 6
| I bought this CD mainly because of track 6, Fairytale, sung by Guang Liang. It sounds so nice. Guang Liang's other song, track 11 is great too. I also like track 10, sung by Charles and Janice. |

Way to go Janice and Jill
Way to go Janice and Jill
| Way to go girls both Janice and Jill, I was almost cant differentiate their vocal at the first time when I listen to track 4 (Lonely) which was sang by Jill, but after a couple of time I found out that Jills vocal is slightly a bit different from her twins sister Janices vocal. In the way of Jill interprets her song is more passion and sexy and Janice is more sentimental. You know what, is Good to see in Hong Kong Music industry had such great artists. Hopefully they will continue to produce more albums. |
