A REAL JEWEL
|
like most of the peaople,i've heard of tate takako by the masterpiece movie;"nobody knows",the young woman is really talented, she has a very special gift for songwriting, and the music she plays is really melancolic,it's really a shame that she is none more famed, but in these days,it's normal, the music industry is full of cheap r&b and dancefloor melodies....well i am glad that there still have some small spot for real artists like miss takako. i have buy all the cd's she has composed....thank you miss tate takako for your beautiful music, you have one fan in france. p.s:you have to forgive me for my english..i'm french. |

Daremo Shiranai (Nobody Knows)
Daremo Shiranai (Nobody Knows)
| Watching the film "Daremo Shiranai" at the theater, I fell in love with the song "Houseki" (track two on this album), which was used very effectively near the end. When I found out the name of the woman who performed it, I came here and immediately ordered this CD. Once I got it in, I was surprised to find that several of the songs on the album are even better than "Houseki," including the beautiful opening track, the bizarre waltz of the third track ("Onna no ko") and the gorgeous sixth track. Takako Tate is a marvelous young singer/songwriter who needs more exposure. Her voice and music is powerful and gentle and absolutely beautiful. The closest artist I could compare her to is probably Chihiro Onitsuka, or perhaps Rie Fu. I have listened to this album, "Sora," so many times, and I can't get enough of it. I will be ordering her other CD from here very soon. If you like soft, melodic piano-and-vocal-driven music, this is an excellent album that you will not be disappointed with. |
