Awesome album! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I love this album, and I was very relieved to see that the style is the same as her first two albums. I hate it when artists have a unique style then go and destroy it by doing boring R&B stuff. But not here! Nami sticks to her unique style. This is a great album, with a higher proportion of good songs than her first album.

Same? Still good though! Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
I bought the DVD + CD version

I'm satisfied with the dvd, and cover, and stuff.

The CD tracklisting might need some work...The only songs i liked were the singles. The first track is like 45 second instrumental (not Nami tamaki) and goes to her Result single. Which really sounds similiar to her single "Reason". Overall i'm satisfied with i bought, but dissapointed, and not really sure if i am planning to buy any more of her Products..

Now...that doesn't mean i won't get her Calander =D

this cd is great Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
im really tired of reading all these reviews of the disapointment in nami on how all of her music sounds the same. HELLO!!!!! if you havnt noticed she is a performer/dancer, she needs to have these techno/trance/up the beat, kind of beats to show her abilities, and what she is good at doing. now if she's going to rock out thats not going to show her abilities!!! now is it,NO!!. I know that some of you have seen the 'HEROIN' video yeah she rocked out in that video, but at a concert she cant just stand there doing nothing, she has to move and dance around to get the croud pumpin. i just wanted to stand up for her and say that her music is great and i love the album the whole thing!!!!, and the techno/trance beats mixed with alL the other musical what ever it is, is what keeps me a big fan of hers.GO!!!! NAMI!!!!

Good Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Nami Tamaki's latest album Speciality is some what good. Her songs are the almost the same as her first two albums but over all its pretty good. My favorite song is Get Wild because its so different. The DVD that comes with features her performing Sunrize, CASTAWAY,Get Wild, and MY WAY live. If you really like Nami Tamaki then I think you should buy.

Good CD Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I have been a fan of Tamaki Nami sincer her intial full length release "Greeting." I must say this has been my least favorite of her 3 full releases. Her 2nd release "Specialty" is still my favorite.

I felt as if too many of these songs sound similar and vary but only slightly often lossing me and have me wondering, am I on track 4 or 7? They seem to all slur together like listening to a continuous techno/dance cd. I still enjoy her unique style, but believe she has done better in the past.

The bonus DVD was slightly dissapointing. I expected it to contain a few PV's, but instead was a live concert. It was still entertaining but not what I had hoped for.

The cd package itself is fantastic. Heavy stock paperboard, doused in glossy full color pictures of Nami in color coded outfits. There are also 2 pull out pamphlits within that contain photos.

Overall, I do enjoy the album, but would reccomend checking out some of her older work as well.

It grew on me! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
A lot of people complain about how Nami has been using the same style since she debuted, but that's the reason I continue to listen to her music. It's fun, upbeat, and always makes you smile. This new album of hers definately does that. At first I thought it was just okay, but it really grew on me once I watched the DVD. The live performances were great and get you really excited about the music. After that I couldn't stop listening to this album. There has been at least one song on her past two albums that I didn't care for, but I love all the songs on this album. A couple aren't great, but overall this is a wonderful album. It's especially summery! And the packaging is beautiful too.

Fresh Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Although I wasn't initially impressed by the range of Nami's voice, not having heard this artist before. On further listening to the album I have come to the conclusion that she uses her voice in a suprisingly varied way for such a young singer. The music and themes are certainly fresh and upbeat, with some sophisticated melodies and a music style that contains rock and techno elements. Definitely worth purchasing, and the images and look of the cover/booklet are very attractively done.

Good-Good Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Nami Tamaki has amazed me with her vocal range within her first 2 albums ('Greeting' and 'Make Progress'). However, she doesn't do the same with this album. To be honest, I am not that impressed and I only like a few songs. However, the songs that I do like are amazing and I can't stop listening to them. She is still stuck with the dance/trance style, and I personally think she should get out of this because she's done it with her past 2 albums.

However, overall, this makes a good summer album and easy listening.

Great Package! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The ablum+DVD + photo booklet are awesome. The jacket cover or sleeve that it comes in is really nice. I'm so glad that I bought this item. The photos are of nami with different looks and style they are mainly of her face. They are so beautiful, you would say so if you see them. There is a number one on the cd and a number 8 on the dvd, which 18 for her age. The DVD contains a perfomance of SUNRIZE, Castaway, Get Wild, and My Way, Nami does not lip sync and all the performances has a dance to it. There is a lyric booklet with credits and and a small flyer for a musical broadway show that nami will star in and the proceeds will go to charity, on the back it has her concert information. Her news song on the album (excluding songs from singles) are just her style of singing and sound very good. If you are a fan of nami I recommend this item because it is really beautiful.
