　　Spider is a strange and lonely man. After a long stay in mental institution, he got transferred to a middlehouse. At the same time, his deeply buried childhood memory begins to haunt him again. Spider 'sees' his father brutally murders his mother and replace her with a prostitute. However, the two women look exactly the same! Is it simply his sanity struggle, or if he's revealing the truth?

dark and surreal but brilliant Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Cronenberg's best movie in years. Take a trip through the disturbed mind of a young boy in the body of a man. It does take a while for this movie to get going but if you stay with it you will certainly enjoy the finale. Intelligent and haunting filmaking with superb performances by all actors.
