The talented singer/songwriter, who landed an award winning hit with My Way in 2002, has another ambitious album full of surprises to offer. Hins's latest CD Spring Summer Autumn Winter offers 10 promising new tunes. He has included his chart-topping smash "Guo Yunyu" (Track 1) as well as the theme song Hurt So Bad for Billy Chung's (Kung Fu Mahjong) big screen production Moments of Love starring Race Wong and Ron Ng. Good effort but boring Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
I'm a fan of Hins because he's one of the few Chinese musicians in the current music industry who doesn't just use image/looks. Hins is talented enough to write, play, and produce music and that should be applauded. That said, I think this is one of Hins' weakest albums. His debut and second albums were both much more creative and interesting. I listened to all of the tracks on this album and the melodies are pretty boring, and the lyrics rather simplistic.

a bit slow... Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
i finally took the chance to listen to talented hins..i'm very impressed at his talent..able to write/compose/arrange songs..the album was overall well done..but there were too much slow ballads..which to me personally gets a bit boring..i'm not saying i'm not into slow ballads..but hins was greatly known for his hip hop/r&b type of music..i didn't see any of this in his latest release..maybe it was the music company's idea..or it's a new trial for hins..but either way..let's hope he has more medium paces songs on his next release

onto the songs..i love track 1..the piano performance suited nicely w/the melody of the song..it's very relaxing..and also the raining noises too..makes the song flow more fluently...track 2..which is my favourite from the album..this song added a bit of drums and piano..so it made the song to add a bit of drama..and hins' voice was magnificent..very well performed..and it really got to me..i was very well into the song..actually feeling and understanding wht he's trying to sing...another song i enjoyed was the duet hins had w/ivana..even though this is the mandarin verison of "hands hope" in ivana's cd..it was still nicely done..this song again used a piano..but the feeling this time..is very mysterious..a bit on the gloomy side..both of the singers' voices blended well together..so it sounds very good...i also like track 9..it's like a typical slow ballad..hins had a lot of emotion put in here..and it also shows a high range of vocals..so it's a great song

looking forward to hins next release..hopefully..there's more r&b involved..which he's most recognized for

He's an Intelligent Nifty Singer Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
That spells out Hins. He's a beautiful and talented young male Chinese pop singer of his generation. He can compose, write, and co-produce his own songs. I admire him for that. His talent even got him the rumoured attraction of my newest favourite female Chinese pop singer - Miss Ivana Wong Yuen-chi. According to reports, they are having an relationship, but whether that's true, it's up to you to decide. But of course Ivana denies this possible fact. My favourite songs are: "Passing of Clouds And Rain", "Hurt So Bad", "The Rainy Day Before Our Separation", "The Moonlight Within The Clouds", "Up To You" (in duet with Ivana), "If I" (composed and written by Ivana), "The Person Whom Stole The Story", and, "Extremely In Love" (in duet with Hin's own father). I love the designs throughout the album, including ones of Hins with his inseparable keyboard, and ones with him among the naturalistic backdrop. And what about his own cool personal "H" logo? I wish Hins, the continual blessing from The Lord for continual success within the Chinese pop music business and of course, his health, happiness and peace to continually be with him. Peace, Hins.

This album isn't bad at all Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
There are several songs that I like a lot in this album, like track number 1,2,6,and 7. Number 7 is a very interesting song. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. His voice is just very sensational and soothing. I absolutely love it!
