best of four seasons
| I received my DVD of Spring Waltz from YesAsia and the English subtitle was excellent. I've watched it twice already and will likely watch it again. It's my favorite of the Four Seasons series. I liked this one better because the story is more upbeat and has a happy ending. The music throughout the series is wonderful. I love their version of Clementine. It stayed in my head for days afterwards. The location sceneries are beautifully filmed. The actors/actresses were great. It was a very visually beautiful series. |

Shipping Cost
| When I tried to order the CD, I was slapped with shipping charges even though it was displayed as an item that comes with FOC shipping. I think the advertisment is misleading. Pls remove it if you are charging shipping charges |

A Beautiful Story
|
I love this very sad yet very beautiful love story. The main actor and actress were so suited for each other that I can't imagine them being with anyone else. Both of them were attractive in a natural way. The supporting actress someone I truly dislike. This means that all three did an excellent acting job in their roles. I found while Daniel H. was charming, he was not suited for his role becuase he spoke way too much English and not nearly enough Korean (fyi, I do not speak Korean). To me, his English speaking was fine for his role in My Name is Kim Sam Soon but not in this one. The episodes on the main charactors' childhood were rather slow and lengthy, but you will understand why they are necessary when you finish the drama. The music was great and the sceneries were terrific too. Unfortunately, my copy had very poor English subtitles and picture quality. I recommend that you wait to watch this drama until you have a good one if you need English subtitles. I hope Yesasia.com will have one for sale soon. |

Surprisingly good drama!!!!!!!
Surprisingly good drama!!!!!!!
| I just finished watching this drama and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good this dram was. The director took a chance in choosing 4 relatively new faces to be the leads of this highly anticipated drama (because of the success of his previous works Autumn in my Heart and Winter Sonata) and the leads ALL did an amazing job in playing their characters. I like the main actor and actress, although plain and not too overly good-looking, they have chemistry together and the scenes between them are very sweet. The main actor has a sad look and is able to express his emotions so effectively which is very touching. The actress has a pretty smile that is very sweet. They both can cry so well (so sad....) And of course, the ever-so-handsome Henry (Phillip), he's just charming from beginning to end! I like the storyline and the scenery too! And ths music! SOOO good! Overall I like this drama more than the Autumn and Winter series (I haven't seen Summer Scent) and would definitely recommend this drama!!!!! Watch it!!!!! |

Beautiful Spring Waltz !!!
|
I love Spring Waltz so much. The storyline is nice, refreshing and not as dramatic as "Autumn in my heart" or "Winter Sonata" which was too tense for me at times. The cinematography is just so beautiful. Also the music is very relaxing and enjoyable. For the actors, I think that they did a very good job portraying their characters. The last two things that I have watched and has touched me because of the acting were "The Phantom of the Opera" starring Gerard Butler and "Lovers in Paris" starring Park Shin Yang; However, Seo Do Yeong/Yoon Jae Ha captured my heart immediately in his first scene when he was playing the piano. Although he is new actor but he played his role so well by the way he expressed his feelings. I have never seen an actor express sadness, isolation and pain so well before.I found that Seo Do Young also has a very unique style of hair and clothes in this role. For actress Han hyo Yoo/xu Enying, she is young, cute, has a bright smile and is very mature. Director Yoon Seok Ho did a good job with the new faces he used for this series just like he did with Song Hye Kyo and Won Bin (Autumn in my heart) who are very popular now. Though, many people dislike Lee So Yeon/Jina's role,I thought she really acted well, and Deniel Henney/Phillip was very charming, and nice in this series;however,I wasn't impressed with him that much, because when it comes to English speaking actors,I prefer to watch Hugh Jackman,Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt,or Johnny Depp. I already bought the Spring Waltz dvd but the English subtitles in the Hong Kong version were not that good, so I'm hoping to buy a special edition of this dvd with better English subtitles from Korea. I hope to see Seo Do Yeong in another drama or movie very soon...just love him so much and can't wait to see him again!!! |

Spring Waltz is like a DREAM!
| Spring Waltz is the grand finale for the Endless Love Series and i must say that Spring Waltz was everything i hoped for and wanted. Perhaps it is because this series was the last one that many people had high expectations and trust me, i was no different. i wanted Spring Waltz to be exceptional. Spring Waltz is the first series to make the watcher aka me be filled with hope, love and dreams of fate. Don't get me wrong, Autumn in my Heart was romantic but so saddening at the end; Winter Sonata was about first love, but not everyone could relate as everyone hasn't had a first love or at least not a first love like that; Summer Scent was sweet but not the greatest. and lastly SPRING WALTZ, my favorite k-drama ever made, made me believe in true love and happiness. i hope you watch this drama and be open-minded because the english translations are dreadful and the acting (especially Daniel Henney's even if he is HOT!) wasn't superb but it was everything i wanted and needed. the childhood episodes are somewhat slow, but trust me, it is all worth it in the end! and the music is the best!!! if you don't purchase the series Spring Waltz you MUST MUST buy the OST. that's how great it is =] |

Big disappointment...
Big disappointment...
| I have been anxiously waiting for this drama, which I expected to be phenomenal, since the previous series were absolutely fantastic. I couldn't even wait for it to be dubbed (VNmese) so I bought it w/English subtitle... OMG I have NEV-ER seen such bad translation in my life, it doesn't even make sense, even all the genders were incorrect, "he" is "she" and vice versa... common.. my 7-yr old could've done a better job with the transalation. The only reason I gave this a rating of 1 is because of Daniel Henney, his gorgeous face & body saved the day(somewhat)... I have never seen the other actor or actresses in any dramas before and hope I never will... they stunk and not good looking so made it even more painful to watch. The child actors were much better. I don't know why the producer hired 'new faces' with so many great & better looking actors out there? What happened to "save the best for last?"... I would've not taken chances w/the 'new faces' and hired the popular good looking actors for this series... the main actress is boring, plain and her acting was annoying and what's with the supporting actress looking like a nerd for? I don't get it, those glasses she had on was unnecessary for her character & made her even nerdier. The other actor was very wishy washy as well... not manly at all & what's the shaggy hair about? so not flattering on him... like I said if wasn't for Daniel Henney who's character was charming, gorgeous and is so lovable that it was unbelievable to me that he WASN'T the main actor, I wished I could've gotten my money back for this movie. Wait... I do have one positive note for this drama, the music is beautiful, I just bought the OST. That's the only thing I would recommend :-) Otherwise, save your $$$. |

One of the best Korean TV series since Endless Love and Winter Sonata. Frankly, I was quite bored with some of Korean TV series and had turned away from it to other country's production until a store manager recommended this to me. It's a very beautiful production. I love the main actor Suh Do Young and the supporting actress Han Hyo Do. The supporting actor Daniel Henny acts well in that context. Other than the beautiful scenery and extraordinarily beautiful music and fresh plots. The main actor acts well in all roles relating to his struggles and pains between being his first identity and his second identity. He has an extraordinarily charisma and his personality and performances made this movie a success. He has portrayed his love to En Young well in the movie. The only problem with the Korean movie now is that the English translation is soooooooo very very poor that put all the Englis viewers off. I hope the success of the Korean film industry will mean that the production film will spent some money to find someone who could translate well for a good movie. A beautiful movie to watch......... Thanks to the production cast, the crew and the actors and actresses. |
