    May 15, 2006 19 singles later.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It took w-inds. 19 singles to produce the perfect song. I have been a w-inds. fan since close to the beginning, and I have always been fascinated with their music, but I guess for the wrong reason. Songs that were just mediocore, I would still say they were the best songs released, I would completely ignore the quality, the lyrics, etc. But now that I have matured with them and heard the best and worst of w-inds. I can say this is truly "The Best" of w-inds., they have finally made the perfect song. I am not saying this as a dedicated w-inds. fan, I`m saying this as a music fan, the quality is great. The lyrics, the vocals, the music are beyond words. Since the song was done for the Japanese version of the film, Goal, which has much to do with soccer, I think it's closer to heart...Keita and Ryohei are soccer fans. My personal opinion is that they put more effort and more feeling into this song, but I also believe that but the most in ALL their music. I already pre-ordered my single on 05/11 since I saw the video, I think it would be wise that everyone else do so too. This is an amazing song.

    March 19, 2006 She's a Musical Genius Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
These past 12 weeks were the most important weeks for any music fan. Each single was brillantly put together, from the beautiful ballad "you" to the soft pop finale, "Someday". I finally recieved my CD+2DVD JPN version and its definitely worth the price! Expensive, yes. But you get so much, because she is just amazing live and each and every PV is enjoyable, especially the 4-part mini movie: you, feel, lies & someday. D.D.D. is a fast paced song featuring Soulhead, a nice ladies anthem. I like it. "you" is my favorite Koda Kumi song, hands down, the lyrics are okay, but it's how she sings the song with so much emotion and feeling that really captures me. And the PV featuring Takashi Tsukamoto is sweet & sad. WIND vs. Birthday Eve? WIND & Birthday Eve are the very bubble gum j-girl pop, but WIND is better than Birthday Eve, song and PV-wise. Candy reminds me of Hot Stuff for some reason, I don't know why, because they don't sound a like at all, but it's a pretty cool song with a influential hip hop sound. Lies & feel both have there equal share of Koda's ever popular Engrish, I actually thought the line "feeling free and just close to me" was "pretty pretty angels close to me" T_T and in lies she said "i just want you babe" and I thought it was "i just want you back boy" But they are still GREAT songs. The PVs represent the cute-sexy-sweet-mellow sides of Koda Kumi. They are all interesting PVs, and I agree that honestly this isn't her best work (secret is her best work, IMO) because of the unwanted songs like Birthday Eve, No regret and Kamen. The live DVD is so good!! "hands" was the best of course. Singing "A whole new world" was interesting, because I still haven't gotten used to her English. She tried a little too hard, it wasn't my favorite. I recommend this CD for anyone and everyone who loves music, no matter what your style is because she will capture your heart. Koda Kumi is truly a musical genius, everything she touches turns to gold and her music/voice is easy to enjoy.

    December 25, 2005 Tri-Angle > Rising Sun Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Although I enjoyed Rising Sun, it just couldn’t compare with TVXQ’s first album, Tri-Angle. I don’t know if it was all the ballads and the small use of fast paced songs, but then again, they are an acapella group and known more for their slow beautiful ballads. “Rising Sun”, track number 3 was my favorite with its funky experiments in rap and Punjabi. Also “Free Your Mind” with TRAX is a good song that I enjoyed, raps written by known other than Brian Joo (FTTS). The album was overall good, the vocals were beyond amazing, kudos to the boys because this album would make any person swoon, I’m sure. Although I still prefer Tri-Angle, this isn’t a half bad release in my eyes. I liked it, and you can tell how stardom has affected them and how it has let them grow up vocally and creatively. I recommend it. Also these photos are most definitely NOT old. >_<

December 25, 2005 LOVE STAR! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
LOVE COOK marks Oostuka Ai’s 3rd full album and what should be an immediate success considering her popularity in Japan! This album is filled with strong beautiful songs like my personal favorite, “Cherish” & “Planetarium”, and fun songs like “SMILY”. Despite Ai’s bubbly childish image (which we all love) from her previous two albums I feel she has grown up and really showed a side which we would all be proud to call “J-POP QUEEN” Her music on this album is so dynamic that it will entertain all tastes, it truly is wonderful! Tokyo Midnight is a up tempo jazz type with a beautiful piano welcoming you into the song and then drums playing as she sings, a good song. Before I loved Ai but her voice wasn’t my favorite, but after this I have been turned into a total Ai convert, this album is just great! You’ll enjoy it more than her first two, you’ll enjoy it if you love early Ayu, and if you love J-POP! Definitely put this in your cart and support Oostuka Ai’s 3rd release!

November 26, 2005 Not My Favorite Ayu Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I love Ayu to death, but this fell short in every way possible. It's not that the songs are horrendous, but Bold&Delicious kind of doesn't fit Ayu well. She has a beautiful voice that tackle any style, but with the "YAYAYA GAGAGA DADADA WOWOWOWOWOOO" when you first hear the song, the booming sounds of a gospal choir shouting "BOLD&DELICIOUS" before Ayu, and then coming in with the chorus along side Ayu, it's funky but not my favorite. I actually like the whole style of the song but it takes some time to find interesting. The PV to Bold&Delicious was shot in NY. I wont give it away, but it's a nice little video inside of a video were you get to see New Yorkers in "awe" at a Japanese woman making a PV in Japanese. If I may add, I think I saw my cousins neighborhood! :O
Pride? I like. It's a nice song, soft & mellow, but I don't like it more than Bold&Delicious.
But my favorite song on the whole single is Will "WALL5Remix", it's great. I think the single is still worth buying, especially for an Ayu fan, no doubt about it.

    November 26, 2005 Beautiful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
In my opinion, the best Japanese Music Tour of this year goes to Nakashima Mika's LET'S MUSIC TOUR 2005. The performences were spectacular and very much worth it. I personally enjoyed "My Medicine" (from NANA, the movie), "Yuki no Hana", "Aishiteru" and "Legend". Her voice was flawless and to die for. I think Mika surpassed any thing possible with these performences. Pure perfection. A MUST BUY FOR THE YEAR!!

November 25, 2005 My God What A Great Single! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
After releasing their highly anticpated 17th single, Izayoi No Tsuki. The hardworking, energetic and talented threesome, w-inds., came out and released Yakusoku no Kakera which I believe could most likely be my favorite w-inds.' single ever! :O

Yakusoku no Kakera-this is a beautiful mid tempo song, it actually sounds like a cute little Christmas style song from the beat. The vocals are absolutely wonderful, good job Keita on the lead. Ryuichi and Ryohei sound good too, except as always I have to strain to hear them. But overall, considering you have this wonderful song to dance OR relax to, I say it's great. If you close your eyes, you could honestly see the sight of snow flakes and two lovers at night. Well, atleast I could.

デジャヴ (Deja Vu)-Aiye! I just love this song. Its a fast paced song with strong vocals. This is definitely my favorite of the three songs. Ryuichi and Ryohei lend their hand in making this song amazing with their rapping.

Pearl Dance-This is a very obvious "rip off" of a great Justin Timberlake/Neptunes song called "Like I love you", you can hear it so well. While the beat sounds like Justin's "Like I love you", the vocals remind me of another American song, that I can't pin point at this moment, maybe Usher's "You don't have to call"? This doesn't suggest that it's horrible, its just the imitation is very obvious. I still think the song is super awesome. Sweet, strong vocals and definitely something that makes you want to get out on the dance floor.

So should you buy it? Hell yeah. :)

    October 27, 2005 What a premiere! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is Miliyah's first full album, and it was way more then I expected. Just having her singles Never Let Go, Lonely Girl, Jounetsu, and Beautiful was a definite sign that this album was going to be great. This album is full of strong vocals, wonderful lyrics, and upbeat music, with it's share of ballads. It couldn't have been exhibited in a better way, especially for a first album. It's defenitely something you can listen to over and over and never get bored. In my opinion, the strongest songs on this album are "STAR", it really holds you in with her vocals and the emotion she put in, but she truly puts all her soul in ALL the music she produces. "Dont Stop!" is also another one of my favorites, a nice, fast-paced song, but the lyrics are what captivate you the most, speaking of woman empowerment.
The way everything was put together, and delivered was flawless. Clear, and close to you, this premiere is one not to miss. A must buy for Miliyah fans and others interested in j-r&b. www.miliyahstyle.invisionplus.net

    October 22, 2005 Wonderful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The main track, Lonely Girl, is beautifully written, and sung so well. But to me, I love Ooh...Baby, it is a great song. Miliyah Kato sounded absolutely amazing singing Lonely Girl, her voice is powerful, deep, husky, and just beautiful. I definitly concur with the previous reviewer, it is a great single, and I recommend it to all, especially those interested in j-r&b/urban. October 22, 2005 Must Buy! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I agree with the pervious reviewer, this is a definite buy for any r&b fan! It is a cover song originally sung by UA. Miliyah's voice was very warm, yet strong and so soothing on this song and so relaxing. The wonderful violins playing in the background truly bring you in and hold you. It is definitly worth your while to pick it up whether you are a diehard Miliyah fan, j-r&b fan, or just a wandering person looking for good music.
