I'd expected it to be better
| I expected the movie to be better, I thought it would be kinda entertaining. I'm a Vanness fan, but he could do better, this film is full of cliches. What was he thinking when he was reading this script? His performance was okay, it was the storyline that kinda sucked. My rating is too high for this film, it's just that Vanness is in this film, without him it's just BAD. |

Star Runner Rocks?????
| Wow this movie was great. Ididn't like the plot though... but i love Vanness and his sexy moves! Vanness RULES!!! but not the movie. They need to go back and edit the movie. It's too happy. At least something bad should happen! |

Hmm...
| I haven't seen this movie, but I like the actress, Kim Hyun Ju so I watched the trailer. It didn't look that good. And I hear that it was dubbed? I hate watching movies that are dubbed. Vanness Wu actually looked pretty good...not girly like before; no offense to Vanness Wu lovers out there! After reading the reviews, I don't think I want to see it... |

quite good
| I was actually waiting to watch this movie, since i got the trailer on vcd already. It was great, vanness really do improve his acting skills. The story line was great as well, it's juz.. why didn't they tell us who win the match and what is wrong with the ending??! |

pretty tight!!
| i was looking for some meteor garden stuff in the computer, then iwent to one site. it said somthing to do with a new karate movie with vanness wu, so knowing him in meteor garden, wanted to check him out. so i searched for star runner. the first thing that popped up in google was their trailer, i clicked it, and it literally took two hours to download the stupid thing...bit it was all worthit. when i watched the teaser trailer for the movie, it looked really tight and i had to see it right away. after one year trying to find it, finally i went to google and found the best website of all websites, YESASIA.COM!!!!!! well, i finally watched the movie and it turned out to be really great. when i read about this movie, and saw the poster, o thought that it was just gioing to be some stupid american kick movie, and just american kick boxing. but when i saw the movie, they had everything!!! from muithai, to jiu jitsu, it was really awsome. the love story was really great too!!!really great!!! well, botom line is, GET THIS MOVIE!!!!! i guarantee you that this will be the best 12.99 you will ever spend in your life!!! |

Beautiful Storyline
| This story was beautiful. Although the story could have been a bit more lengthy, Daniel Lee fully portrayed what he was aiming at. Vanness really sacrificed a lot for this movie. If you have read news on him, he had to lose about 15 pounds in a short period. He also tanned himself. The most serious thing that happened to him during filming was he dislocated his jaw. But thankfully, he corrected the dislocation with his own hands. Ouch..Bummer for a first test at acting! |

superb movie!
| i didn't expect this movie to be that great since i read the summary. then i watched it and might i tell you this movie is pretty good. the scenes are unexpecting. bits of comedy are entertaining to watch. vanness wu plays his character really well so does the korean girl. i recommend for any guy or girl! |

pretty good
| i've been waiting for star runner for a very very very long time. the first time i saw the preview, i looked freaking tight!!!!! i had to see it. after a couple of months i finally got it, and it was pretty good, looked a lot better in the trailer but it was good. vanness wu looked like he worked really hard in this move, and i got to give him credit for that...and the girl is freaking HOT!!!!! botom line is, its a good and decent move that is worth buying. |

an alright movie..
| this is just another typical movie..sorta boring and the picture color seems kind of old.. but Vanness made it better..-=)the story lines sucked but the fight was ok..pretty intense and they didnt have to use a lot of computer effects. |
