Boring. Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Daniel Lee has just demonstrated that he is not capable of shooting fight sequences, each fight in the film has been edited horribly, with each single movement chopped and cut hindering the Ok choreography (By Chin Kar Lok). During the fight scenes the camera is in constant movement and flashing flights are, well - constant flashing preventing the audience from seeing what is actually happening. If you work hard enough though you can gain some pleasures from seeing some slick moves but we should not need to work to be entertained.

The romance aspect is terrible with no chemistry between the leads and both Vaness and Kim Hyun Ju seems bored, with Vaness showing little or no expressions (granted he speaks perfect English means nothing he needs acting lessons). The film being a Action and a Romance fails to deliver in both accounts and at most times feel like two different films.

The one thing that i gained enjoyment out of was spotting the veterans in the film: Gordan Liu, Ken Lo, David Chiang, Ti Lung.

Overlong, bad acting, boring romance and horrible MTV style fight scenes.

this movie is the bomb! i mean this is the best movie i had ever seen. i can watch this movie over and over and never get tire of it.. vanness and tank voices in english impresses me the most..i mean i never get tire of it..they speak good english...and yeah...by the way they're HOTTT!!!!!

The movie overall was far more enjoyable toward the end when it got the action packed fight scenes. Some of the best fighting I've seen (Tank was nice eye candy) and very impressive. The romance was a bit on the weak side, it felt like it lacked a lot and I tended to get distracted during those scenes. Otherwise though, the movie was fun to watch and I enjoyed it a bit. =)

Not Korean or Chinese..I didn't know who the main actor and actress were or even the fact that it was being dubbed. Overall, I really like the movie and watched it twice. I bought the movie because of its cover and thought it would be good. It would probably be better if they didn't delete some scenes. AND what is with that strange new teacher who was talking to his boxing trainer at the beginning. I like the fact that they didn't show who wins b/c it would be too typical to expect "Bond" Vaness to win...plus, I think by the end we were rooting for both Bond and Tank.

I think the movie STAR RUNNER, not only made Vanesse Wu's acting seem good..it also showed a lot of art in da movie..cause the cutting and filming was quite good.it's more of an art type of movie to me..

A Movie for both Boys and Girls Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I'd say its a movie for both boys and girls: #1 Boys would very much appreciate it because it's action-packed and definitely shows characters with real training and discipline. #2 Beautiful and talented Kim Hyun-Joo would certainly attract the guys' attention. Her great acting skills were again visible in this movie. #3 Vanness Wu made a great turn from his sunny-boy-next-door character to a much more serious one. His acting skills were tested and I believe he was able to put up to it. #4 It's just action mixed with romance giving you a good lesson about self-discipline, confidence, strength, love and how to make most of what you want in Life.

this movie was unexpected for me at first but it turned out alrite. except for the voice overs. the storyline btw vanness and kim hyun ju was really weak i thought. however the fighting scene was really good. man, that guy Tank (andy on) kicked vanness's butt pretty good, but u gotta give vanness some props too. overall, pretty neat.
