Twenty eight years ago, director George Lucas began the story set "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." telling the story of farm boy Luke Skywalker, who rises through the ranks to lead an interstellar rebellion against the evil galactic Empire, led by his father, Darth Vader. In the third and final chapter of Lucas' trilogy of prequels, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith we finally learn how Luke's father, Anakin Skywalker was persuaded to turn to the Dark Side of the Force, betray his family, his mentor and his people, and become Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith.

The Clone Wars are in full swing, and Jedi Knights Obi Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) mount a rescue mission to save Senator Palpatine, who has been kidnapped by the evil Count Dooku and General Grievous. On his return to the Senate, Palpatine's relationship with Anakin grows stronger, and Palpatine preys on Anakin's growing frustration with the Jedi Council and fear that his pregnant wife Padme is in mortal danger. He explains to Anakin that only the Dark Side of the Force is strong enough to save his wife. But Obi Wan knows that with Anakin by his side, Palpatine will be powerful enough to take full control of the Galaxy and realizes his only hope is to confront his friend and former pupil before it's too late.
