YesAsia Editorial Description

Four Taiwanese idols - Peter Ho, Qiu Ze, Tammy Chen and Hu Yaping - weave an endearing winter love story in the enchanting surroundings of Hokkaido’s snow white background. The drama charges the TV screen with emotions and has won the hearts of the Taiwanese viewers, bringing about a new prime time for Taiwanese teen idol TV programs.

Starry Starry Night revolves around a love triangle among Peter Ho, Tammy Chen and Qiu Ze. Tammy Chen coincidentally runs into Peter Ho and both sense that they share a kind of connection. Their love affair lights up after their mobile phones are inadvertently exchanged. Things get increasingly complicated as the viewer discovers that Qiu Ze (playing the step brother of Tammy Chen), has always had a hidden affection for Tammy Chen.

After finding out that Peter Ho is suffering from cancer, he is unwilling to accept that Tammy Chen's happiness should be affected and tries to change her fate.

A So So Drama, A Good Young Actor Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
This is a typical and ordinary story with only one
decent young actor in it, that is Qiu Ze (also named
Roy Chu).
He is an interesting actor, very, very good looking,
always a little shy and a little sad. I think if he
continues to practice his acting craft, he has a lot
of potential and can be much more than just a pretty
face. He can also sing. You should look into his
albums.

Slow with Bad Acting Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
This show was extremely slow-paced, and the story line was pretty unbelievable and unrealistic. As for the acting, the main girl sounded like she was reading lines off of people's faces. When I first started watching taiwanese dramas, I thought they were so bad b/c of shows like this. There are some good ones out there, just not this one.

Very Touching and Sad Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I just seen this movies, i like it, except for the sad ending. Peter plays great, Qiu Zi also. But the female artists, just like reading the line.
The story and the songs played really matched.
Only that i cannot figure it out, why Yi Rong must die also? Seems unreasonable. Might be good if both are dead, but maybe with other reason which is more reasonable, not just like that.
The scene that really touch my heart is when Peter doing the chemoteraphy. Seems very scary, i can't imagine if it happens to me.
