AYU is my grl!!! Go Ayumi!
| This CD is the bomb. It is so good it makes me dance every time I listen to it. It's worth every penny. She has such a beautiful mature voice on this CD. I love her so much!!! All her songs were made by a pro. :) Go Ayu! |

Amazing!
| This single really is amazing! There are lots of people that say Ayu's career is getting worse but this really does prove them wrong! 'STEP you' is one of the best Ayu songs I've heard! Very Catchy! This single is definately a must-have for any Ayu fan!! |

I'm not a big fans of Ayu, but I bought almost all her album(not the single). Then for the first time I try to buy her single, "step you/is this love?". Disapointed? A little bit... Because, I'm sure for a talented diva like Ayu, she can do better than this. "Step You" is just a catchy song, not more than that and the title... Really, I think Ayu should improve her english. "Is this love?" just a rock ballad song, Ayu hit the note better in this song, but this song just too noisy for me. Luckily, there's dvd bonus that provide you w/ 3 good PV, especially "my name's women". In my opinion, if you want to buy this single I think you better wait for the album. |

Finally, after hearing only "is this LOVE?" and absolutely loving it I hear the full single! Before hearing "STEP you" I didn't think I would like it because of what other people said about it. But, was I wrong! "STEP you" is not only incredibly catchy, but vocally strong! Before long, you'd be singing "1.2.3.4. itsukara ka, 1.2. STEP you" along with Ayu! It has a weird title, but it's quality music! "is this LOVE?" is absolutely amazing. Her vocals are the strongest in this song: her voice has really matured a lot! It has a cool rock feel that doesn't feel "fake" like it does when many pop acts try to write a rock song. Ayu certainly knows what she's doing! (and she listens to a lot of rock, too). I was blown away. Some people say it's like "GAME", but, no, it's better, -much- better. And, as usual, the music videos are really stunning! In "STEP you" there are four Ayu's, each displaying a different personality: cute and shy, sexy, cool, and tough. The real ayu's there, too. "is this LOVE?" is not as cool as "STEP you", but is interesting with the weird stuff that happens in (and out) of her apartment. "my name's WOMEN" is my favorite PV of all three, showing a shy, dorky Ayu being brushed off by a guy in this club and her coming back as a sexy vixen to tell the guys off! You go girl! I love the new direction Ayu's taking and can't wait to see what she puts out next! |

Ayu's new single
| It took me a while to get used to Ayu's new adoption of rock on the "My Story" album but after it grew on me I really like her new material. It's totally different from her pervious works but just as good if not better. Her new style gives her a more mature sound. These 2 new songs are absolutly awsome. "Step You" is such a fun song and "is this LOVE" is a beautiful rockish song. I'm really looking foward to Ayu's future releases! |

WOW WOW WOW
| This single is brilliant. The music and the tune are great and better to see Ayu actually singing to it also. 2 songs, 2 orchestrial and 3 video clips - what more could you want! Ayu's done so well and will so for a long time, i'm sure. i love rock/pop from her and this single fits that glove (it sends tingles of excitement down my back every time i hear STEP you). enjoy :) |

ayu's the best!!
| i'm with saiyuki aoi on this one,i heard her sing for the first time last summer,and i loved evolution even though i knew no japanese words!!ayumi has become my source of inspiration for learning japanese.even if japanese is something you don't understand,her voice and music will reach out to you,like they did with me.step you is very dynamic,rock style.if this is your first purchase,you won't regret it.she has the most different styles of songs of all the singers i know.songs for everyone and every mood!!! |

Fun!
| This is a very good, fun single from Hamasaki Ayumi. Her two songs on this single are really catchy and have a lot of rock elements to them. The lyrics are tame compared to many other artists out there (Amuro Namie, anyone?). Both of the songs were enjoyable, so if you like Hamasaki Ayumi, this is a must-buy for you. I will warn you though: her sound is changing quite a bit, and she is maturing as an artist, so if you've only heard her older compilations, you should prepare yourself for a different sound. This was a very enjoyable single, and I will be watching out for Hamasaki san's singles in the future. |

I have to say, this single is catchy, but not her best work. Although I thought Is this LOVE could be her best rock song. I've read some previous comment about the nasty STEP you lyrics. I've read the translation and sure, it have something about lust in there, but it can be interprete through different ways. The lyrics are actually VERY clean, well, PG, but STEP you is just something in the lyrics, nothing sexual, I assure you. Also, if it is dirty, it wouldn't be the dirtiest song in the J-music history, Vanilla by Gackt is XP still, GOOD JOB AYUMI! |
