Unique and Wonderful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
There are very few songs that grab me upon first hearing them. Usually, it takes several times listening to something for me to appreciate it. I first heard the song at the end of vampire knight (before I knew what she looked like let alone wore as some people may suggest) and I loved it. I don't know why people are complaining about her voice being flat/shrill, etc. Whatever...I can name several more popular J-pop stars who get away with this all too often. (Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, Kuraki Mai...) Sure her vocals aren't perfect but I've never heard a vocalist who had perfect vocals...At least her song here is unique and touching and most importantly deeply emotional and moving.

Just because of a few faults Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Yes, although Wakeshima's voice quivers and goes flat many times like the first two reviewers provided, the combination of those characteristics of her voice harmonizes on a relevant level with the instrumental. Due to the instrumental's gothic/dark nature, it is only fitting to add in a soft, shaking and mysterious vocal as the melody line. At first when I heard "still doll" through the PV I doubted its potential, but after I started watching Vampire Knight I gave the single another chance, hoping that I could find something fresh in it, and I have indeed, along with understanding why it was used as the ED in the first place. Now not only am I able to tolerate the single as a whole, I can even call it one of my recent favorites. Even if you don't like it at first, it's still worth listening to, if not more than a few times.

beautiful. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
the person below me obviously did not listen to the b-side of this single, "Kuroi Torikago". if they did, they would notice that kanon's voice is strong and clear and not at all like the main song of this single "still doll". both songs however are beautiful and fit the atmosphere vampire knight, the anime the song is for."still doll" is haunting and catchy while "kuroi torikago" is fast and dark. highly recommended for fans of ali project, mana, and i'd say malice mizer as well. i can't wait for her next release!

Otaku prayer answered Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
Who ever told this girl she could sing? Kanon combines the ever graceful and beautiful music with her horrendous vocals and notes-gone-wrong to equal a wasted masterpiece. On the bright side, manga/anime/everything-Japan otakus will become obsessed with this girl but not for any good reasons except for the fact she is kind of cute, Japanese, and wears gothic lolita. People who are true fans of music and vocal talent will stear clear of this artist. I can honestly say she should've stuck to cello playing and NEVER opened her mouth. Talented vocalists should sing, untalented vocalists should pick up an instrument and let that be the ONLY music they produce.

Elegant & haunting! Ooo!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This song is absolutely haunting and beautiful with its cello charm and elegant feel, but I'm not sure I can say good vocally. (O.o) ??? Kanon shows alot of flat and offkey notes that are worsened by whispy vocals...but it's not all bad!! Kanon's tone is gorgeous and she has potential!! I think Japan will take to her nicely and I hope this sells well! It's full of passion and she's very pretty herself!! (^.^) I wish her all the luck. She's extremely artistic which draws me to her more. I'll be a fan, but I'd keep a close ear on those sour notes!!!! I don't want to have an artist who cannot truly sing.

I think this is an unique debut with some impressive elements. I think she could've used more extensive vocal training before her official debut, but hopefully, she'll improve with time. This is a POSITIVE review, by the way!! (>.<) Don't try to vote against me!!!!!!
