　　在南國的一個小城�堙A三個來自外地的青年與已故銀行家之女小鴻鄰居，在以後的日子，青年洪瑜與小鴻發生了戀情。由父母包辦洪瑜回家完婚，可小鴻還在癡情地等待，為了逃避小鴻，洪瑜去了法國，回來是小鴻已得了重病，在臨終前，終於與洪瑜上了一面。
