Based on the comic by Lee Hyun Sa, hot-blooded MBC TV drama Strike Love (a.k.a. 2009 Alien Baseball Team) spins a grand old tale of rivalry, romance, and baseball dreams. Yoon Tae Young and Park Sung Min from The Legend play two genius baseball players - one a poor and scruffy upstart pitcher, one a well-heeled batter from a privileged background - whose rivalry extends off the field to their fellow childhood sweetheart, played by Kim Min Jung (New Heart). Another quality production from the music director of Jumong, Thank You, and Star in My Heart, the 18-track Strike Love OST features the theme "I'm With You" (Track 9) by leading lady Kim Min Jung plus songs from IU, Han Kyung Il, Park Wan Kyu, HUN, and other artists.

Hun is good! CD score:9/10

I bought this CD because Han Kyung Il is in it. No surprise because he continues to deliver in a good ballad. His track is the only one that I have rated with a 5 stars, and even so it is not perfect. But this is a good CD because I rediscover Hun who is in tracks 4 and 7. His voice is very soothing, kind of similar to Isu of M.C. The Max. His vocals don't have the smoothness like other singers because he has a few notes that he sounds kind of coarse. However, this is what sets him apart because he sounds very natural and not overbearing. I have given 4 stars to both of his tracks. Track 8 gets another 4 stars from me. In the Thank You OST, I have rated 5 stars for Hun's 2 excellent ballads. |
